YOU HIRED: A standout session led by Ty Day and David Wilson , who shared actionable strategies on how students can build a strong personal brand, maximize LinkedIn,
on April 5, 2025, at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater's Hyland Hall. This event brought together almost 50 student attendees from SHRM chap- ters and universities across the state for a full day of professional devel- opment, networking, and interactive learning designed to shape the future of human resources. Organized in partnership with the UW-Whitewater SHRM Student Chap- ter and supported by SHRM volun- teers, the summit featured an ener- gizing schedule of panels, workshops, and competitions. The atmosphere was both educational and inspiring, creating unique opportunities for stu- dents to connect directly with HR pro- fessionals from across Wisconsin. Key Highlights from the Summit: • HR GAMES: The day kicked
off with a spirited round of HR Games, where students tested their HR knowledge in a fun and competitive format. Questions covered everything from employment law to organizational development and some fun Wisconsin based trivia.
