TRACKS A FLEXIBLE SOLUTION THAT ALLOWS INFINITE CABLE/ROD SIDE-TO-SIDE ADJUSTMENTS.

TRACKS It all starts here. Choose an upper track to hang your cables or rods. Then if you want to tension your cables or rods, choose a lower track. This allows a smart, engineered look and offers increased object stability and security. Since it isn’t necessary for the upper and lower tracks to match, you can choose a rugged design, such as Wall Track, in installations where the lower track could be damaged in high-trafc commercial locations.

PIERS Piers may be used instead of tracks as the anchor point for cables. While you sacrice the innite left/right adjustment that tracks allow, piers often allow unique cable placement.

HANGERS Typically used in specialized designs, hangers attach a cable to common interior features or furnishings such as grid ceilings, ofce panel systems or vintage picture rail molding. With rare exceptions, these do not allow for tensioned cable congurations.

CABLES STRONG, FLEXIBLE AND UNOBTRUSIVE.

CABLES & TENSIONERS Cables are compatible with all of our tracks, piers and hangers. Cables are discreet and any extra length is easily hidden behind a wall object. A wide range of ttings makes our cables extremely versatile. Choose from stainless steel aircraft-quality cables or Nylon Cords. Our cables are 1.8mm thick (~5/64") and are fabricated from 7x7 strand woven stainless steel for strength and exibility. Single-strand clear Nylon Cords are 2mm thick and are even more discreet, but are recommended only for the lightest applications and not to be used with cable tensioners. Nylon Cords are also available in several colors.

Cable Tensioners should be chosen to match the lower track, in the same way cables are chosen to match the upper track. Cable Tensioners function as turnbuckles, resulting in a tensioned cable that supports objects just off a wall face. They can even support objects where there is no wall, as in wall dividers.

STAINLESS STEEL CABLE CONSTRUCTION There are many ways to fabricate a stainless steel cable. Ours starts with 7 strands woven into a bundle. Then 7 bundles are wrapped around one another. This premium 7×7 construction costs more to make, but offers the optimum balance of strength and exibility. It is commonly referred to as “aircraft cable.”

RODS THE CONVENIENT, STRONGER SOLUTION.

RODS

If strength is your primary concern, solid rods are your solution. Their rigidity also makes them extremely convenient, allowing you to insert, move or remove a rod without a ladder. That’s welcome news for many commercial insurers and Workman’s Comp coverages. And rods allow for a better anti-theft solution, as they may be attached to a lower track in a xed, nearly tensioned manner. Rods are available in both aluminum and stainless steel. Both are 4mm (~5/32") square prole. Stainless steel is higher in strength and also resists bowing, particularly in longer lengths. Various nished end-shapes specialize a rod for a particular function.
