MEDICINE BOW NATIONAL FOREST The Medicine Bow National Forest offers year- round recreational activities from hiking, biking and camping to horseback riding, ORV riding, fishing, hunting and more. In the winter, take advantage of snowshoeing, snowmobiling, skiing and snowboarding. Warmer spring and summer months bring lots of flora like wildflowers and fauna to enjoy from a safe distance like pica, marmots, foxes, moose and even predators like black bears and mountain lions.

HISTORIC CAMPUS WALKING TOUR The heart and pride of Laramie is the University of Wyoming, home to Alpha Phi’s Kappa Iota Chapter. Whether you are here as a prospective student or family member, a proud alumna, a Wyoming sports fan or just a casual visitor, take some time to tour this beautiful college campus.

Home to the Cowboys and the treasured mascot, Cowboy Joe, Laramie is tucked away between two mountain ranges that make it a go-to destination for winter sports. Whether you spend the day shopping in the pedestrian-friendly downtown district, visiting a museum or grabbing a taste of local culture and recreation, Laramie is sure to be a memorable destination.

WYOMING WOMEN'S HISTORY HOUSE Learn all about Wyoming's changemakers at the Wyoming Women's History House. Located in downtown Laramie on 2nd Street, you can tour the Wyoming Women’s History House for a small fee. Call ahead to ensure there is a tour available during your trip (307) 399-9571.

LARAMIE MURAL TOUR The locals of Laramie — aka Laramigos — are proud of their small town’s mural scene and want you to enjoy it, too, by taking a tour. Founded in 2011 in collaboration with the university’s art museum, the Laramie Mainstreet Alliance and the Laramie Public Art Coalition, the full tour features over 20 murals throughout downtown Laramie.
