Connectivity

Press x to close the editing mode. Press + to create a new float box. In editing mode, a new float box and a fold-out menu will be displayed.

The CANNM7 has a built-in Wi-Fi module. This is used for updates, map downloads and updates.

Switch on the Wi-Fi and select the desired Wi-Fi network. The CAN- NME7 is now connected.

Switch between a filled or transparent background

Configure the automatic connection function here if required. If Au- tomatic connection has been switched on, the device will connect automatically with a known Wi-Fi access point.

Delete the selected float box parameter set

Close the editing of the selected float box

Software update

The newly created float box contains a single numerical value. Press the value to change it. A new dialogue window, with all the options, will be displayed.

The CANNME7 can only be updated via Wi-Fi.

Add another numerical value by pressing the + and select the desired parameter. The full list of parameters is shown in section 11.

Press Device update to start the update procedure. Confirm the ex- ecution of the procedure and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the process.

Use the options from the fold-out menu to further personalise the float box.

9.1.1 Editing the float box

Press the float box shortcut. Now press the float box to be edited un- til the fold-out menu is displayed. Use the options from the fold-out menu to further personalise the float box. Press x to close.

This manual is limited to explaining the float box function. A float box is a (personalised) information box that can be added to a CANNME7 screen.

Press the float box shortcut. Now press the float box to be edited un- til the fold-out menu is displayed.

Select the screen to which a float box must be added, deleted or ed- ited. Open the FloatBox shortcut. The previously selected screen will be opened and the + and x symbols displayed at the top of the screen.

on the screen. Press x to close.

9.1.3 Deleting the float box parameter

Press the float box shortcut. Now press the float box to be edited un- til the fold-out menu is displayed. Press and hold the float box parameter to be deleted and drag the contents to the left. The text "remove" will appear. Press to delete the parameter or drag the contents back to the right to stop editing. Press x to close.

9.1.4 Deleting the float box

Press the float box shortcut. Now press the float box to be edited un- til the fold-out menu is displayed. Press the rubbish bin symbol to delete the float box.
