The Voice of the Andes The Voice o f the Andes was born in a sheep-shed. It is now a broad casting station world-wide in scope. What a tremendous growth from that humble beginning where it gave forth its first message on Christmas Day thirteen years ago. The station, as it is today, is the answer to many pray ers, and outstanding conversions have been the result o f its ministry. From here more than 17,000 phonograph records and radio transcriptions in 'over 50 different languages have gone out to the mission fields of the world. In addition 20 different Indian lan guages have recently been recorded in Mexico and Guatemala, almost all of which are unwritten languages. — World Dominion Our Rock The Bible is the rock upon which our Republic rests. The men who made the greatest contribution to liberty were governed by His Word. The men who settled America entertained strong religious convictions. The first result of our American legislation was to put God in the cen ter of society. The first foundation of American citizenship was laid in the declaration that the rights o f man came from God. Easygoing religions make the go ing easy for the devil.

A Postage Stamp Says:

I represent my country. I'm always ready for service. • I go wherever I am sent. I do whatever I am asked to do. I stick to my task until it is done. I don’t strike back when I am struck. I don’t give up when I am licked. I am small, but I carry great messages. I am necessary to the happiness of the world. I am crowned with the crossmark o f service. The child o f God can see more on his knees than can a philosopher on his tiptoes. First Steps When Adam and Eve sinned they failed to meet God at the appointed hour o f worship. God was there, but Adam and Eve were elsewhere. We, the sons and daughters o f these first parents, are not at all different. If there is sin in our souls, it robs us of any desire to meet God. The first steps to take to attain a happy and wholesome life are church steps. Great decisions for great living have been most often reached in God’s appointed place for worship. —Sel. Real Christian love is too deep for fanaticism, and too fervent for in difference. —Gumming How About You? A statistician has figured that 5% o f all church members do not exist; 10% of them cannot be found; 25% never go to church; 50% never con tribute a cent to the Lord’s work; 75% never attend a midweek prayer serv ice; 90% do not have family worship in their homes, and more than 95% have never tried to win a soul to Christ! — Selected i Nero and Paul disagreed as to the person of Christ. Who won? Well — we name our boys Paul and our dogs Nero.
