Annabel Jenkins PR & Communications Manager I’ve been in my role as Global PR & Communications Manager for just over a year now and have loved working with H&Hers from all over the world. It’s great to get involved in all things communications from H&H World Community Day, to our quarterly financial results announcements and H&H Sustainability Report. Amy Greenall Content Specialist & Copywriter I joined H&H Group in February and I specialise in copywriting and content – from LinkedIn posts, to writing articles and planning events. My favourite project to date was managing Global Wellness Week, it was lovely to see everyone coming together as One Big Team.

Global Wellness Week Highlights

Team members from around the world got involved in initiatives that support our three wellness pillars: Nutrition, Movement and Mind and took time to reflect on different aspects of wellness and how we can all live healthier lives. We had sports clubs in China, Sound Bathing in London, a Zumba class in Thailand, working with charity partners in Hong Kong – to name a few! A special thank you to our local P&C teams for making this happen. It was fantastic to see everyone come together and support Global Wellness Week across our offices. In June, 998 of our One Big Team celebrated Global Wellness Week, an extension of Global Wellness Day which took place on Saturday 10th June.

Founded in Australia in 1969 by explorer Kevin Ring, Swisse joined H&H Group in 2015 to facilitate its global expansion, launching into China and Italy in 2016, later followed by other regions such as Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Thailand, Taiwan, Brunei, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and the UAE. Biostime achieves approval from new national GB standards on four IMF series

H&H launches Sustainability Report 2022

Three major series of our Biostime infant formula have successfully passed the new national standard registration in China: Biostime Pi-Star, Biostime Organic Milk (Healthy Times), Biostime Goat Milk (Cute Betty's Care). These follow the Biostime Alpha Star infant formula series, which was approved in February this year, to

obtain national certification in line with the new regulations. The new national food safety standards for infant formula, led by the National Health Commission in China, came into effect on 22nd February 2023 and see the domestic milk powder industry enter a new stage of high- quality development with quality improvement at its core.

In April, we published our 2022 Sustainability Report. An integral part of our global strategy, last year we made significant strides in accelerating our efforts to deliver on our short- and long-term goals around sustainability. This will enable long-term business growth that benefits our team members, stakeholders, communities, and the planet. Some notable achievements

include the launch of cutting-edge products that support health and wellness for the whole family including pets. In addition, 98% of our packaging is now recyclable, biodegradable or compostable. We've also strengthened our sustainability governance with the launch of an ESG Committee and activated our diversity, equity and inclusion vision for the future.

Swisse Italy unveils new Beauty Campaign and launches on TikTok

Biostime Australia team attend HMO Nutrition Event

The Biostime team in Australia attended a very successful HMO Educational Nutrition Event in May. The event, hosted in Melbourne, is aimed at clinicians in the maternal and pediatric space and offered the chance for the Biostime team to increase credibility with healthcare professionals, drive key leadership engagement and brand awareness. There were 170 attendees in total and key discussion points included innovation, pre-term RTF, HMO ingredient prevalence in standard formula, other novel ingredient usage, and shifting maternal mental health standards of care. Key opinion leaders in this space were also present, including Dr Maurizio Pacilli, Dr Marcel Nold, Joel Sadowsky, Heather Gilbertson and Joanna McMillan. The team received positive feedback including from key H&H Group customers, the Royal Children’s Hospitals in Victoria, Australia. They noted that our presence at the event “showed our commitment to science”.

Swisse Italy launched their multichannel beauty campaign in March with successful coverage across TV and new digital platforms. The “Your Beauty Comes from Within” campaign saw the number 1 best-selling product in the Italian Beauty market for hair and nails, Swisse Hair Skin Nails, surpass 10% volume of growth across all channels. Swisse Collagen Diamond also gained 27% growth compared to 2022. The team also saw a successful launch on TikTok, a first for the brand, to drive engagement and exposure for the two new beauty gummies: Collagene Marino (Marine Collagen) for skin, and Aceto di Sidro di Mele (Apple Cider Vinegar), which have been developed to detoxify the body. The Sales and Marketing Teams supported the launch with both online and offline activities including pop-up materials for visibility in-store.

H&H expands PNC segment with the launch of Zesty Paws in the UK

Aurelia London launches new collagen shots in the UK

H&H has expanded its pet nutrition and care presence in the UK, the Group's first step in its expansion of the segment into Europe. The best- selling pet supplement brand Zesty Paws, which provides high-quality, functional products for both cats and dogs, is now available in the UK via Amazon. Mike Rondas, CEO for Europe, H&H Group comments: “We know that Zesty Paws can bring

transformative supplementation to pets worldwide, bringing efficacious solutions, powered by branded ingredients and in an easy-to-give soft chew format that pets love.” The first product launch in the UK was the best- selling Zesty Paws Mobility Bites in Duck and Bacon flavours, with a wider roll-out expected later in the year.

Zesty Paws and Solid Gold win "most engaging booth” at largest Pet Show in the US

Zesty Paws and Solid Gold expand retail distribution in the US

North America’s PNC team won “Most Engaging Booth” at the largest US pet show in the US, Global Pet Expo 2023. Zesty Paws and Solid Gold had a joint booth showcasing a selection of products, with the theme “Making Memories”. This reflected a recent global trend around the humanisation of pets and making them part of the family. Visitors had the opportunity to make memories by taking photos with their friends, colleagues or pets and adding to a photo mosaic as well as taking the memento home with them. The event was a huge success and excellent exposure for our growing pet brands in America.

Solid Gold is now available in Walmart with products including dry dog food, wet dog food, and a selection of toppers. Plus, Zesty Paws entered the Farm & Feed channel debuting at retailer Tractor Supply with a selection of top sellers like Aller-Immune Bites, Calming Bites and Salmon Oil. Zesty Paws also entered the pharmacy channel with the launch of pet

supplements in CVS Pharmacy. This large chain bolsters over 9,000 pharmacies, most of which will carry Zesty Paws in its new Pet Supplement Assortment. Distribution at established retailers like PetSmart, Target, and Walmart experienced assortment expansion with the addition of senior offerings, puppy SKUs, as well as Dental Bones and Training Treats.

Swisse Australia launches Movement Campaign featuring the new Swisse Ultiboost Fast Acting Vitamin D3

Swisse Australia targets millennial consumers with new gummies campaign

The Swisse Australia team have targeted millennials with their new gummies range campaign. The team partnered with local popular talent duo 'The Inspired Unemployed' to create the campaign. Together, they came up with “Functional & Fun” - a fashion line that demonstrates Swisse Gummies functional benefits in a bold and unexpected way. The marketing team over-delivered the target of 10 million consumer facing earned media impressions with an impressive 35 million impressions in just two months. This audience first approach generated awareness of Swisse Gummies delivering over 247,000 engagement interactions. The creative and engaging campaign strongly resonated with 18–34-year- olds in Australia. Due to the success of this campaign aligning instore sales activation with above the line media, the share for Swisse in gummies has nearly doubled in just a year - now at 11.2% total format and 14.6% for adult gummies.

Our Australia team was thrilled to launch their biggest VMS campaign of the year which went live in early April. The ‘Movement’ campaign features the latest Swisse product, Ultiboost Fast Acting Vitamin D3. The main ingredient in this ground-breaking product, calcifediol, is something that Swisse has access to for a limited time only and it allows the body to absorb levels of vitamin D at a faster rate than normal products. The team launched ads featuring local ambassadors Lance and Jesinta Franklin, who will both build awareness around the products across Catch up TV, Kayo, YouTube, Social, Radio and outdoor advertising platforms. Alongside this, Swisse has partnered with major retailer Chemist Warehouse, on some exclusive assets helping unlock an additional half a million AUD worth of value and further amplify the campaign.

H&H participates in China’s first pet food conference In February, the first China Pet Food Conference, sponsored by China Feed Industry Association and Beijing Feed Industry Association, was held in Beijing. Cementing itself as a prominent brand in the pet health industry, H&H Group actively participated in the conference with pet health brand Solid Gold. The team networked with authoritative experts in the industry and gathered invaluable insights, as well as further promoting the Solid Gold brand to key opinion leaders.

Good Goût launches four new exciting innovations this year

The Good Goût team is proud to announce the arrival of four innovations, launching onto

French ambient baby food market: two vegetarian recipes in sticks which have been inspired by the Baby-Led Weaning trend that encourages little ones to explore food by themselves and self-regulate the amount they eat. The whole launch is accompanied by a 360-degree marketing campaign and in-store shelf-edges. So far the first in- store results have been very promising!

In May this year, our H&H Research team attended the annual ESPGHAN meeting where more than 4,000 global visitors got together for networking around science and infant nutrition with key opinion leaders, partners and practitioners. This was an exciting time for H&H Group as we pre-launched our new Inostime product - the new generation of infant milk with a high- quality nutritional profile and enriched

The H&H Scientific Advisory Committee (H&H SAC), a global initiative bringing together some of the top academics and experts in the health and nutrition industry to further promote the health industry to global authorities. Swisse opens new Innovation Kitchen in Melbourne, Australia

In May, the Swisse Australia team opened their new Innovation Kitchen at the dedicated packing facility in Melbourne, Australia. The Kitchen has been specially designed to be a creative space for technical and innovation teams to interact with new ingredients, formats, and packaging – ultimately designing H&H’s consumer-led products of the future. This new facility demonstrates

our commitment to driving local Innovation and R&D and will also play a key role in supercharging our global innovation pipeline. The launch event was attended by various members of the H&H team as well as government representatives including Brimbank City Council Mayor, Councillor Bruce Lancashire; Councillor Virginia Tachos and Representatives from Global Victoria, Lei Song and George Di Scala.

Biostime China’s Guangdong Probiotics and Maternal and Child Health Engineering Technology Research Centre recognised for technological innovation efforts

H&H attends global nutraceutical conference, Nutrify C-Suite Summit

H&H Group Global Senior Manager, Scientific Affairs and BINC Dr Regina Karim MD, was invited to attend the Nutrify C-Suite Summit as the eminent speaker. Nutrify C-Suite Summit is the biggest nutraceutical conference in South Asia & Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Regina shared the latest scientific update on postbiotics and its applications included in our H&H brands. This summit was not only important in furthering H&H Group’s credentials but also supporting networking with potential Indian and GCC suppliers and CMs.

Established by Biostime and a wholly owned subsidiary of H&H Group, the Guangdong Probiotics and Maternal and Child Health Engineering Technology Research Centre has been publicly recognised by the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province. As part of their 2022 recognition list, this achievement reflects a new level for Biostime’s

industrial technological innovation. This includes its engineering research and development and transformation of scientific and technological achievements. Additionally, this achievement demonstrates the comprehensive strength of scientific research in being recognised by this government department.

H&H Group drives forward ESG ambitions with commitment to science-based emissions reduction targets

At H&H, we have publicly announced our commitment to tackle climate change, setting ambitious targets for the Group’s future by developing science-based greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets in line with the SBTi’s. The SBTi is a global body enabling businesses to set ambitious emissions reductions targets in line with the Paris Agreement goals and the latest climate science. It has become the gold standard for

science-based target validation. In 2022, the Group has completed its first comprehensive screening of its Scope 3 emissions. H&H Group’s plan includes maintaining 100% of energy use from renewable sources, delivering on an ambitious freight action plan and engaging its key suppliers to set science-based targets. The move marks a seismic step forward for H&H’s ESG commitments.

Swisse Italy unveils new sustainable packaging to help reduce plastic usage in products

Swisse Asia teams up with Enterprise Singapore to launch new, innovative sustainable packaging solution

Tapping into Singapore’s leading global innovation ecosystem, Swisse Asia teamed up with Enterprise Singapore and participated in the Sustainability Open Innovation Challenge, in hopes of accelerating sustainable packaging through innovation across our portfolio. At the end of the challenge, Swisse attracted 30 proposals from companies located in 17 countries, showcasing many exciting and novel

packaging solutions. With the strong support of Global R&D team and credits to our 5 passionate judges – Jonathan Hovenden, Cheang Poh Ling, Angela Brady, Sunitha Shanmugam and David Cannata, Swisse will select 1 strategic partner to win the golden opportunity to collaborate with H&H, up to S$60,000 worth of investment, and project seeding fund of S$5,000.

The team in Swisse Italy have furthered their commitment to reducing their footprint on the planet, one of H&H’s core sustainability impact areas. Swisse Italy have decreased the jar size of 20 products (adapting the carton box and label size accordingly) which will save 26% of plastic against a packaging of equivalent content. This change will lead to three main

improvements including reduction of plastic material usage, reduction of paper material usage and reduction of empty space transportation and improvement in consumer perception. The new packaging is being rolled out from June 2023 and the first product – Swisse Hair Strength Women – will be officially launched with a new TVC in September.

Our GABA Culture redefined

The HHEC got together in Orlando earlier this year and had a great discussion on the Group’s special culture. It was an opportunity to come together and discuss the importance of the Group’s special culture, while highlighting the need to drive greater understanding around the culture we are fostering here at H&H. When we are focused on our mission, adhering to our principles, living our values, thinking big and acting efficiently like owners - we foster a GABA culture in which we create, and we are fast.

TLAD – thinking like a disruptor forms part of ‘GA – we create’ as we need to innovate and disrupt to create high impact, premium products that make people and their pets healthier and happier. The introduction of ‘with principle’ in our cultural framework is pivotal. This ensures that we don’t focus on speed over doing the right thing. Getting to Know: Dominic Melliss

H&H role : Global Digital Commercial Director Lives : Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, UK

What were your role(s) prior to joining H&H Group?

I have spent my entire career, nearly 20 years, in digital retail operating both omni-channel and pureplay businesses. I have managed all functions from marketing to tech teams and everything in between throughout my experience and have overseen multiple digital transformation projects. Most recently I was Chief Commercial Officer for an online pet business that operated across the UK and Europe. I have a real passion for operating, scaling and transforming digital businesses. Tell us about yourself. I live in Hertfordshire with my wife and two children. I am a keen follower of most sports and actively play tennis. Do you have any pets? I have a cat named Parker, named by my daughter as he was found in a park in Southall, London, when he was just a couple of weeks old.

What are you most excited about for the remainder of the year and beyond? I am most excited about getting to better understand the current digital capabilities of the business and from that executing new digital opportunities to transform the way we operate. In an ever-changing landscape I believe the business is in a great position to build its presence digitally across all regions. What is an H&H product that you'd recommend to others? Having only been with the business for a couple of weeks it would be unfair for me to pick a single product. However, I am excited that the best-selling Zesty Paws Mobility Bites are now available to buy in the UK!

What are you watching, listening to, or reading right now? I have just finished watching Ted Lasso and Shrinking, two shows which I absolutely loved. I am a regular listener of the podcasts 'Diary of a CEO' and 'The Rest is Politics'. I would recommend the book 'The Culture Map' which I have almost finished!

In 2023, our regions will continue to shortlist outstanding H&H-er's nominated through Actions Speak Loud to go into the Global H&H Hero’s Programme. Winners will be announced in early 2024!

What is your biggest piece of advice to any new H&H'ers? My biggest piece of advice to any new H&Her is to be agile and resilient to embrace H&H GABA philosophy. We have the chance to work within a company with plenty of innovative ideas and that is ready to take some risks to make them happen but it also means to accept change of plans and be ready to jump to new projects in a very responsive way What keeps you H&H? Sport is what keeps me H&H! I am passionate about tennis and dance, and I practice both weekly. They both keep me fit and ease my mind, no need for additional yoga session with this routine! Please share some insight on why you won the I Trust You award? It was quite unexpected for me! How Actions Speak Loud and H&H Heroes Works

All team members who have been recognised through Actions Speak Loud will be shortlisted by the regional leadership team to become the region’s H&H Heroes. How long have you been with the business? It has been 4 years since I joined the group. Over the years, I had the chance to work on 4 different H&H brands (Biostime, Swisse, Dodie, Good Goût) at different scale, always keeping Biostime as my main focus. When I started with the business, the foundations of Biostime HCP strategy had been laid, but everything was still to be built on. I led the scientific training of our sales force, rolled out our communication in specialised press and congresses and started building a network with French KOL What are you most proud of since joining the business? I am amazed to see 4 years later Biostime be the n°1 organic IMF in France with pharmacists being our 1st source of influence when our consumers choose our brand and 83% of visited pediatricians ready to recommend us. I feel very proud to have been able to contribute to this. My current role goes far beyond leading Biostime HCP strategy, with also a deep involvement in defining our Biostime innovation pipeline and

The project that started in July 2021 over two time zones, with more than 50 stakeholders involved and over 200 meetings! With enormous complexity and last-minute challenges, we rallied together to achieve a key milestone. This meant the wider ANZ team can now reap the rewards & efficiencies of our new ERP system What is your current role within the Group and did you have any prior roles at H&H? My current role is “IT Business Systems Manager – ANZ”. I had multiple prior roles at H&H mainly in Finance How long have you been with the business? 13 years What are you most proud of since joining the business? Two ERP implementations, one in 2016 with Microsoft Dynamics and the second one in 2022 with NetSuite

Please share some insight on why you won the Gaba award? I have worked with the business for 9 months and sales are growing fast. We have distribution coverage over more than 1,000 stores and total sales in 2022 achieved over budget What is your current role within the Group and did you have any prior roles at H&H? What is your biggest piece of advice to any new H&H’ers? My biggest piece of advice for new team members in our organization is to remember that you will get out of H&H just as much as you put in. The company offers numerous opportunities for growth and development but it’s up to you to seize them. I encourage new team members to build relationships with team members in various departments and regions, be open to new opportunities (even when they fall outside of your comfort zone), and most importantly – find passion in your work as it’ll be the driving force for achieving your goals. What keeps you H&H? I get asked every day when speaking to candidates why I love H&H and the three things that keep me here are the team’s commitments to living H&H’s values every day create a positive and productive culture, H&H’s commitment to inspiring wellness, and the opportunities for growth Please share some insight on why you won the CLED award? I received the CLED award for the part I played in growing the North American team in 2022. Last year was an exciting and challenging year for H&H North America as we experience significant growth (after acquiring Solid Gold in 2020 and Zesty Paws in 2021). As a team, we knew that to accommodate this growth and position ourselves for continued success, we needed to ensure we had the right people in the right places. Though it was a challenging year, the team’s positive attitude and commitment to celebrate life every day was what helped us bring in some very talented new team members. I am humbled to have received the CLED award on behalf of the team’s effort in filling almost 80 roles in 2022!

What is your biggest piece of advice to any new H&H’ers? Stay positive and keep a motivated, passionate mindset. We will always be facing challenges during work; positivity can make you full of power and engage the team to resolve the challenge and go to success. The market environment is unpredictable, we need to maintain continuous insight and an understanding of business. Therefore, being self-motivated is particularly important for us to continuously learn about market trends and cutting-edge technologies. I encourage new H&H’ers to Power Our Passion, collaborate with the team to create business value for the H&H. What keeps you H&H? During the past few years, the second growth curve of H&H Group has flourished, while the third growth curve has also been deployed. Hence, there are many opportunities for me to experience innovative things. With a clear digital strategy, I have supported the businesses to implement different projects. I am so proud to be a member of our One Big Team. Please share some insight on why you won the One Big Team award for Project Neo? Project NEO has lasted for 14 months, more than 50+ stakeholders from ANZ and China have been involved in the project. Due to the epidemic situation, the project team can only collaborate remotely, which adds a lot of difficulties to large and complex ERP implementation projects. In the face of challenges, the Project NEO team is always able to face them bravely and solve them with passion, because we firmly trust our teammates. This is truly One Big Team spirit with strong collaboration cross Functions and Regions

My prior role at H&H was Project Manager of the IT PMO Team How long have you been with the business? I joined H&H Group in 2018 as a Project manager in the IT PMO Team, I have been at the company for almost 5 years What are you most proud of since joining the business? I am so proud of working in an open, creative environment. In the face of uncertainty in the market environment, to better support the business, IT plays an important role in the strategy of Digital transformation, we have lots of opportunities to bring in the advanced technology and innovative products to support the business performance uplift. The most important thing is that we have strong support from business, it is critical towards our success!
