Can custom requests be expedited? Unfortunately, custom engineering projects cannot be expedited . Each one follows a structured review and approval process to ensure quality, safety, and performance. What factors influence the cost of a custom product? Several elements may impact pricing: • Custom machining (we outsource all machining work) • Order quantity • Non-standard or specialty materials • Additional tooling or setup requirements Why might a custom request be declined? Some requests may not be feasible due to technical limitations, development risk, or resource availability. In those cases, we may explore alternative solutions or pass the idea to our Product Management team for future consideration. What happens if I want to make changes after approval? Once a special is approved, changes may require a full re-review and could impact both cost and timeline. We recommend reviewing all specifications carefully before approval.
How will I receive confirmation of a custom order? You will receive a written confirmation outlining: • The part labeled clearly as a “special” • Finalized pricing and lead time • Scope of customization • Any approved drawings or technical specifications
We’ll also confirm that the order is non-cancellable and non-returnable.
