Feature Detail The Feature Detail view is displayed in the main viewport and the Part View is shown in the upper right viewport. The Feature Detail screen displays a selected feature with probed points that passed or failed any assigned tolerances, and Feature Detail information including position coordinates, feature geometric parameters such as diameter, form, number of probed points and the geometric fit type. The geometric fit type can be changed and tolerances can be assigned, edited or deleted using tools provided by this screen. Press a feature in the Feature List to display the Feature Detail screen. The screen will be discussed in detail in Section 7: Tolerancing.
Program Playback The Part View is also displayed during program playback. The Part View is displayed in the main viewport and the Measure Prompt is shown in the upper right viewport. The Part View screen includes a flashing dot that indicates the next point to be probed. The flashing dot is red until the probe is positioned near the required point location. As the probe nears the required location, the dot becomes green. However, the dot remains red until datum probing is complete. This view is displayed whenever measurements are being conducted during program playback.
