Creating Features Features can be created by entering the desired position size and other parameters that describe the feature. The M2 system supports the creation of the following features: • Points • Lines • Circles • Arcs • Distances • Angles The basic procedure for creating features is identical for all feature types, only the required feature parameters change depending on the feature type being created. To create a feature: 1 Press the Measure Feature button of the feature that you wish to create. The Measure Feature submenu will be displayed. In this example, a circle will be created. Measure toolbar > Measure Feature button 2 Press the Create Feature button. Data fields will be displayed for entering the required feature parameters. 3 Enter the required feature parameters and then press the Done button to complete the creation. The new feature will be shown in the Part View and added to the Feature List. Measure toolbar > Done button
