Creating and Saving a Part Program Part programs are created automatically as measurements and other operations are performed. However, part programs must be saved at the conclusion of a measurement session in order to be recalled and used later. Part programs can be saved with temporary or no part fixturing or with permanent fixturing. Part programs that include permanent fixturing are only used by CNC systems. Temporary or no Part Fixturing To save a part program with temporary or no part fixturing: 1 Press the Save button to display the Save Part File dialog. System toolbar > System menu > Save button
Press the Save button
Enter the filename and press Save
2 Enter the file name into the File name field of the Save Part File dialog and press the Save button. The part program file will be saved and the part program file name will be shown in a green bar at the top of the Feature List.
