PRACTICAL POINTS (1) The presence o f the old nature is manifested in murmuring. (2) The people who find most fault are the people who have the least cause. (3) The church had yet ot learn Paul’s rule: Careful for nothing; prayerful in everything; thankful for any­ thing. Phil. 4:6. (4) The matter o f moment for the preacher is the ministry o f the Word. (5) The preacher must pray if he would preach with power. (6) To fulfill the duties o f a deacon one must be filled full o f the Spirit. (7) Unless the deacon be a man o f faith, he will not be a faithful man. (8) When the W ord is multiplied, a mul­ titude will be won.
