D’ror yikra 1 [rex §C God declares freedom for boy and girl and guards you like the apple of the eye.

Your name is pleasant, never to cease. Rest and be at ease this Shabbat day. 2 Seek out my temple and its hall, make through me a sign of Your salvation.

Plant a shoot in my vineyard. Turn to the cry of my people.

3 Tread the wine press in Botzrah, also in Babylon which grew to power. Release my foes from angry rage. 1 Hear my voice on the day I call.

4 God bring to the wilderness mountain myrtle, acacia, cypress and box tree. To the bright and to the cautious give peace that flows as a river. 5 Passionate God transform my foes, 2 melting their heart with regret. Then we will open and fill our mouths, our tongues singing out to You. 6 Know what is wisdom for your soul, what is a crown for your head to guard the command of your Holy One, to keep your holy Shabbat.
