Pickleball Basic • AGES 18 AND UP Pickleball is a fast-growing racket sport that is best described as a mix of badminton, tennis and ping-pong that can be played by nearly everyone. Program consists of instruction followed by actual game play. Players should wear athletic shoes and dress as for tennis. Equipment is provided, but bring your own pickleball paddle if you have one. Please be sure to select your team’s competitive level to best create the season schedule. Should enough teams register, the league will be split into two divisions. Men and women are welcome to participate. Play takes place on a reduced- size field with eight players per side. Teams play a seven game schedule. There is a $20/person non-resident fee in addition to the team fee. The league administrator will be in touch with captains prior to the start of the season with additional information. A t-shirt jersey is provided. A minimum of 8 players is required in order for the Free Agent team to be formed. The last day to withdraw and receive a refund is August 28.
