Everyone Active is embracing the agency model and seeing an unprecedented number of tenders come to market, says the company’s Regional Director – South East
What’s the latest from Everyone Active? Our financial year ending 31 March 2025 saw significant growth in turnover and number of sites. We ended the year with 230 sites across 69 contracts, of which 172 have a gym, and a total turnover of just over £360m – a 10 per cent increase from the previous financial year. Across the 172 sites with a gym, we have more than 450,000 members. We expect this current financial year (1 April 2025–31 March 2026) to continue on a similar trajectory; we’ve already signed three new contracts that started on 1 April 2025, bringing us to over 240 sites, and expect to top £400m revenues by the end of the year.
What’s driving this performance? The big thing for us has been the launch of our You+ wellness membership. Based on the six pillars of Move, Sleep, Nutrition, Brain, Recovery and Social Wellness, You+ is a response to the massive consumer shift towards wellness. There’s a strong desire now for a 360° approach to gym membership, so we worked with physiologist and lifestyle management expert Oli Patrick to design the detail behind the six pillars and we launched You+ on 1 January 2025. You+ includes full access to all our facilities as well as Health Hero, but it also includes a coaching process,
