HOLIDAY HIGHLIGHTS Nightly Entertainment | Fantastic Prize Draw | Festive Treats | Chatsworth House | Museum of Lincolnshire Life | Christmas Party Night | Bakewell DAY ONE – Arrival and Party Night We depart from your home with our exclusive door-to-door pick-up service, join your tour coach and make our way towards Lincolnshire, stopping en route for lunch in Bakewell before arriving late afternoon at our hotel to be greeted with mulled wine on arrival. Time to chat with the Jones team, and relax before dinner and dancing this evening… with a few surprises thrown in. DAY TWO – Museum of Lincolnshire Life, Lincoln and Jones Christmas Party Night Today we visit Lincoln where we have the time to discover the Museum of Lincolnshire Life. Discover a large and diverse collection of historically significant items housed in the museum, located in the Victorian Barracks built for Royal North Lincolnshire’s Militia in 1857. Learn all about the rich history of Lincolnshire with interactive galleries and around 250,000 objects to explore, including an authentic World War One tank. Discover the Museum trail and Historic Hunters playground for children and take time to relax in the Gatehouse Tea Room. You will then have time in Lincoln, perhaps explore Lincoln Steep Hill’s independent shops offering a delightful selection of places to browse including unique clothing, books, and artisanal goods, all while soaking in the local atmosphere. We’ll then return to our hotel, to relax in time for our Christmas party this evening. Feel free to dress to impress, and Christmas jumpers may be the order of the day. We’ll have a bucks fizz pre-dinner drinks reception, before we After breakfast we continue our wonderful festive break with a visit to Chatsworth House, a wonderful treat to finish our very special time together. You will have time here for lunch refreshments as well as time to see the house. We’ll then make our way home, with comfort stops en route. enjoy our meal followed by a live singer and dancing. DAY THREE – Chatsworth House and Departure
HOLIDAY HIGHLIGHTS Nightly Entertainment | Fantastic Prize Draw | Gigrin Red Kite Feeding Centre | Rhayader | Sunday Lunch | Llandrindod Wells DAY ONE – Arrival After being picked up right from your front door, sit back and enjoy the enchanting, picturesque landscapes of mid Wales as we make our way to the charming town of Llandrindod Wells. By mid-afternoon, we’ll arrive at the elegant Metropole Hotel, where a delightful welcome awaits—including freshly brewed tea, steaming coffee, and traditional Welsh Cakes to tantalise your taste buds. Prepare to be greeted warmly by the friendly Jones Holidays sales team and experience a truly heartfelt welcome, perfect for reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. Take some time to unwind and soak in the relaxing atmosphere before we come together for a delicious dinner this evening, followed by an evening filled with dancing, laughter, and delightful surprises. DAY TWO – Gigrin Red Kite Feeding Centre and Rhayader After breakfast relax for a while before we head out to visit Gigrin Red Kite Feeding Centre near Rhayader where hundreds of red kites are fed each day. It is a spectacular sight to see with general and photographic hides to get even better views. We’ll then travel to Rhayader. Have a stroll around the unique country shops you’ll find River Wood, the first gallery and bookshop dedicated to nature and wild spaces in the UK. Set in a 16th century listed building, you can listen to birdsong as you browse the studio gallery full of art and books. We’ll return to our hotel, where we can cosy in for the evening and relax before dinner, entertainment, and dancing, as well as the fantastic prize draw, where you could win some amazing prizes. Not to be missed. DAY THREE– Departure A short morning excursion this morning, and then we’ll return to the hotel to enjoy Sunday Lunch before we depart and head for home.
