HOLIDAY HIGHLIGHTS Jersey | Bournemouth | La Hougue Bie | Hampton Country Life Museum | Jersey War Tunnels DAY ONE - Travel to Bournemouth Join us as we travel to Jersey by coach. We depart from your home and travel to Bournemouth for our overnight accommodation. Arrive with time to relax before dinner this evening. DAY TWO - Arrival in Jersey After an early continental breakfast we depart the hotel to travel to the port to join our ferry and cross to Jersey. DAY THREE - La Hougue Bie After a leisurely morning, we visit La Hougue Bie, where you can explore Jersey’s history from Neolithic times to the German Occupation of WWII. The Neolithic passage grave, dating back to 4000–3500 BC, is one of the world’s oldest buildings and was built to align with the equinoxes. On top of the mound stands a 16th-century Christian chapel with stunning views. The site also features a replica Neolithic Longhouse, where volunteers share insights into life in the New Stone Age, and a German command bunker from WWII. DAY FOUR - At Leisure Today, enjoy a day at leisure to relax and unwind at your resort hotel. The Merton offers a variety of amenities to keep you entertained, including six restaurants, cafes, and bars. Treat yourself to poolside snacks and refreshments at Cascades, indulge in a delightful afternoon tea, or enjoy bar snacks and evening piano entertainment at the Lobby Bar. It’s the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy all the comforts your hotel has to offer. DAY FIVE - Hamptonne Country Life Museum and Jersey War Tunnels Visit the Hamptonne Country Life Museum, a picturesque country farm estate from the 15th century sharing the story of Jersey’s rural life. We then discover a story you will never forget as we see the true story of life in Jersey during the German occupation. The hardship, the heartache, and the heroism, in the words of the people who were there.
DAY SIX - Departure from Jersey After breakfast we then make our way to the port and make our crossing back to our overnight hotel, allowing you time to enjoy a stroll before dinner this evening. DAY SEVEN - Depart for Home After breakfast we then make depart for home.

NORFOLK LODGE HOTEL | JERSEY The Norfolk Lodge occupies a substantial landmark site in St Helier and has been owned by the Morvan family for over sixty years, making it one of Jersey’s most established hotels. All bedrooms are well furnished and equipped, with recent investments upgrading the reception, bar lounge, key card bedroom security, and many bedrooms. The hotel features an on-site indoor swimming pool, fitness room, and large public areas, along with great, freshly prepared catering. The annexe, formerly the Rouge Bouillon House Hotel built in 1911, has listed building status and interesting features, originally serving as the grand home of a wealthy St Helier family, contrasting with the main purpose- built hotel structures. The hotel has a lift.* *Please note: A lift serves the six-storey north wing only. Please note: There are several steps up to the hotel that cannot be avoided.
