Step back in time and experience the charm of the 18th Century as you explore the beauty of Devon. HOLIDAY HIGHLIGHTS Killerton House & Gardens | House of Marbles | Exeter | Exeter Walking Tour | Exeter Cathedral Guided Tour | Totnes | Totnes Museum | Paignton DAY ONE – Arrival We depart from your home and travel to Paignton arriving late afternoon with time to relax before dinner and entertainment. DAY TWO – Killerton House & Garden and House of Marbles We first visit Killerton, a grand 18th-century estate with period rooms, a fashion exhibition, and colourful gardens. Explore unique features such as the Bear’s Hut, ornamental dairy, and the restored chapel. We then head to the House of Marbles to enjoy its quirky museums and Today we visit Totnes and its local museum, where you can uncover the town’s rich history. Afterwards, explore Totnes at your own pace before we return to the hotel mid-afternoon to unwind before dinner. DAY FOUR – Paignton Sit back and relax today – take a break from our busy schedule, and watch the world go by, or explore Paignton at your own leisure. DAY FIVE – Exeter, Exeter Walking Tour and Exeter Cathedral Guided Tour Today we enjoy a full-day visit to Exeter, including a guided tour of the magnificent Cathedral, followed by a 90-minute walking tour with one of Exeter’s famous Red Coat guides. After the tours, you’ll have free time to explore the city at your own pace before we return to the hotel. DAY SIX – Departure After breakfast we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route. glassblowing studio before returning to our hotel. DAY THREE – Totnes and Totnes Museum

Located in the stunning English Riviera, Paignton offers plenty for everyone, from crystal-clear beaches to awe-inspiring nature spots. HOLIDAY HIGHLIGHTS Paignton | Totnes | Sidmouth | Tewkesbury Abbey DAY ONE – Arrival Join us on an exciting journey from your doorstep as we head south, destined for the beautiful town of Paignton. Along the way, we’ll make leisurely stops for your comfort. Arrive at your hotel with plenty of time to unwind before dinner this evening. DAY TWO – Paignton Take a well-deserved break and recharge your batteries with a day at leisure to relax. One of the brightest jewels in the English Riviera’s crown, Paignton has a long stretch of beautiful and easily accessible beachfront, promenade, traditional pier, colourful beach huts and green. What’s great about Paignton is that it is a compact resort, with the seafront and town centre shops all within close proximity. DAY THREE – Totnes We visit Totnes, a charming historic market town on the River Dart. Established by the 12th century, Totnes prospered during medieval times and is now known for its arts, learning, and alternative culture. The town features historic buildings, including the Guildhall, which has served as the town council’s home for over 450 years, and the Norman motte and bailey castle. Don’t miss the Brutus Stone in Fore Street, marking the spot where the Trojan Prince Brutus is said to have landed and declared, “Here I stand, and here I rest. The town shall be called Totnes.” We return to our hotel with time to relax before dinner. DAY FOUR – Sidmouth After breakfast today we travel to Sidmouth, with its red sandstone cliff which dates to the Triassic period. Enjoy a day at leisure here, take a stroll along Millennium Walkway which stretches the length of the beach or relax in the stylish café’s and watch the world go by. We’ll then return to our hotel mid-afternoon with time to relax before dinner this evening. There is also the option of a theatre evening. DAY FIVE – Departure and Tewkesbury Abbey After a leisurely breakfast we depart our hotel and begin our journey home, we visit Tewkesbury Abbey en route.

HOLIDAY HIGHLIGHTS Brixham | Torquay | Totnes | Dartmouth | Sidmouth DAY ONE – Arrival We depart from your home and travel to Devon arriving late afternoon you will have time to relax before dinner this evening. DAY TWO – Brixham After a leisurely breakfast, we travel along the coast to the charming fishing town of Brixham. With its colourful harbour, bustling waterfront, and winding streets lined with shops, cafés, and galleries, there’s plenty to explore at your own pace. You might like to watch the boats coming and going, sample some fresh seafood, or simply soak up the laid-back seaside atmosphere. DAY THREE – Torquay Today is your chance to explore Torquay; known as the ‘Queen of the English Riviera’ Torquay is one of England’s best loved resorts. Explore the harbour, enjoy a stroll along the promenade or some retail therapy in the town centre, or you could just relax in and around the hotel and watch the world go by, the choice is yours. DAY FOUR – Dartmouth and Totnes This morning we’ll visit Dartmouth, The River Dart is busy with boats of all shapes and sizes, and the town hosts the Royal Naval College. You have time to obtain lunch here before we make our way to Totnes, a charming and historic town. DAY FIVE – Sidmouth Today we travel along the coast to Sidmouth, a charming seaside town on the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Surrounded by stunning countryside and dramatic cliffs, Sidmouth is rich in history and literary connections—JRR Tolkien holidayed here, and the town inspired works by Beatrix Potter and Thomas Hardy. Visit the town’s museum to delve into its fascinating past, from local heritage to the geology of the coast. We return to the hotel later to relax before dinner. DAY SIX – Departure After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.

Join us as we explore what the English Riviera has to offer from our base in Torquay, including scenic journeys by cruise and railway. HOLIDAY HIGHLIGHTS Paignton – Dartmouth Railway | River Dart & Estuary Cruise | Maritime Plymouth with Tamar Cruise | Torquay DAY ONE – Arrival We depart from your home and travel to Torquay arriving late afternoon you will have time to relax before dinner this evening. DAY TWO – Plymouth and Tamar Cruise Our day begins with a drive to Plymouth where we sail from the historic Barbican for a cruise. Sail across the Plymouth Sound, flanked by the beautiful Devon and Cornish coasts, passing Plymouth Hoe and the famous Drakes Island. We head for the river Tamar and pull into one of the largest Naval Dockyards in Western Europe – where mighty warships and nuclear submarines await. The skipper provides commentary throughout. After our cruise, enjoy free time at leisure to explore this city before the journey back across Dartmoor to our hotel. DAY THREE – Torquay Today is a free day to relax and enjoy the delights of the seaside resort of Torquay. The town has many attractions, cafes, and shops to explore. The resort is also famous for its connection with Agatha Christie and a famous mile-walking trail that takes you to some of the We journey to Paignton this morning to board the Paignton and Dartmouth Railway for a steam train ride to Kingswear. The journey offers spectacular views out to sea and over the River Dart. From here we board the ferry to Dartmouth. Enjoy free time to explore this seaside town, before taking a circular hour-long cruise along the river and estuary. We then retrace our steps, taking the ferry back to Kingswear and return train from Kingswear to Paignton.
