HOLIDAY HIGHLIGHTS Weymouth | Abbotsbury Subtropical Garden | West Bay | Sidmouth | Swanage Steam Railway | Poole | Poole Harbour Cruise | Bournemouth DAY ONE – Arrival We depart from your home and travel south to Weymouth with comfort stops en route. DAY TWO – West Bay & Abbotsbury Subtropical Garden Today we travel along the beautiful Jurassic Coast and visit West Bay, with the stunning golden glow of the majestic sandstone cliffs and the shimmering radiance of Golden Cap, West Bay, is the Golden Gateway to the Jurassic Coast. We’ll then head for Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens – a wonderful garden filled with rare and exotic plants from all over the world set in a magnificent Victorian walled garden. DAY THREE – Weymouth Today, enjoy a day at leisure in Weymouth, a charming seaside town with plenty to explore at your own pace. You can take a leisurely stroll along the beautiful sandy beach, relax in the lively harbour area, or wander through the town’s quaint streets filled with independent shops, cafes, and restaurants. For a bit of history, you can explore the Nothe Fort, or simply enjoy the scenic views along the picturesque coastline. Whether you prefer to relax or explore, there’s something for everyone to enjoy today. DAY FOUR – Swanage Steam Railway to Corfe Castle This morning we head to Swanage; we have some time here to enjoy Swanage before our steam train journey to Corfe Castle. Sit back and relax during a leisurely trip behind a historic steam locomotive. The 15.3km Swanage Railway trip takes you through the beautiful Purbeck countryside and includes stunning views of the iconic remains of William the Conqueror’s Corfe Castle. Arriving at Corfe Castle we then meet our coach again and return to Weymouth, time now to relax and perhaps take in a little walk in Weymouth before our dinner this evening. DAY FIVE – Sidmouth Today we will make our way along the coast a little further and visit Sidmouth, a beautiful coastal town with a regency feel which is ideal for visitors of all ages. Set in the middle of spectacular countryside Sidmouth is home to beautiful beaches, stylish eating places and great shopping.

DAY SIX – Poole Harbour Cruise and Bournemouth This morning we head for Poole; you will enjoy the hour-long Poole Harbour cruise with a wonderful commentary. We’ll then make our way to Bournemouth where you are able to obtain lunch and maybe take a stroll through, the lower gardens sure to be full of Autumn colours. Spend some time here before we head back to our hotel. DAY SEVEN – Departure After breakfast we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.

HOLIDAY HIGHLIGHTS Poldark Country | Jamaica Inn Smuggling Museum | Pencarrow House | Looe | Plymouth | Tintagel | Port Isaac DAY ONE – Arrival We depart from your home and travel to Plymouth where tea and coffee will await you on arrival. Time to relax before dinner this evening. DAY TWO – Pencarrow House and Looe This morning, after breakfast, we set off for Pencarrow House and Gardens. During our visit, we’ll take a guided tour of the house, uncovering the fascinating history and legacy of the Molesworth family. Following the tour, you’ll have free time to wander through the charming gardens at your own pace. In the afternoon, we continue to Looe, a lively seaside town that offers year-round appeal. With its rich character and vibrant atmosphere, Looe remains a bustling fishing The day is free for you to explore the historic city of Plymouth. Start with a leisurely stroll around the iconic Hoe, where you can enjoy stunning views of Plymouth Sound and the English Channel. Visit the famous Barbican Steps, a charming area filled with cobbled streets, historic buildings, and cozy cafes. While in the city centre, take time to browse the wide range of shops. You can also discover Plymouth’s rich maritime history at the National Marine Aquarium or relax by the waterfront, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of this beautiful city. DAY FOUR – Bodmin Moor, Jamaica Inn, Tintagel and Port Isaac This morning we drive to rugged Bodmin Moor and stop at Jamaica Inn. With its Daphne Du Maurier associations and a museum filled with smuggling artefacts collected over many years. From here we travel to the North Cornwall coast and Tintagel with its dramatic castle ruins, and the pretty harbour at Port Isaac, setting for TV’s Doc Martin. DAY FIVE – Departure After breakfast we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route. port that captivates visitors. DAY THREE – Plymouth

DAY TWO – Sidmouth Today, we embark on a scenic coastal drive to Sidmouth, a charming seaside town tucked beneath the stunning red cliffs and lush green hills of the Sid Valley. As you explore, you’ll be captivated by the beautifully maintained gardens, the town’s elegant Regency architecture, and its welcoming atmosphere. Sidmouth’s friendly shops offer a variety of unique finds, making it a great spot to browse. After enjoying the sights, we’ll make our way back to Weymouth, where you can unwind and relax before our delightful dinner this evening. DAY THREE – Weymouth Enjoy a relaxing day at leisure in Weymouth, where you can take your time to unwind and soak in the charm of this seaside resort. Stroll around the picturesque harbour or along the sandy beach, where you can feel the fresh sea breeze. A walk along the promenade will lead you to the lovely Greenhill Gardens, the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy the stunning views while watching the world go by. Whether you choose to explore the town or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings, it’s a wonderful day to recharge at your own pace. DAY FOUR – Isle of Purbeck and Poole Today we explore Dorset. We will visit the Isle of Purbeck, home to Lulworth Cove, and Corfe Castle before making our way for the rest of the day in Poole. Time here at your leisure. Poole is a bustling resort and known for being the home of Europe’s largest natural harbour. With award-winning beaches and a historic old town this is a great spot to explore. DAY FIVE – Departure This morning, we begin our journey home with stops en route.
