A festive break to the Highlands of Scotland, with the smell of mince pies and mulled wine in the air we enjoy the perfect break with the spirit of Christmas. HOLIDAY HIGHLIGHTS Turkey & Tinsel Package | Live Musical Entertainment | Newtonmore | Inverness | Pitlochry | Spean Bridge | Fort William DAY ONE – Arrival ‘Christmas Eve’ We depart from your home and travel to Scotland arriving late afternoon you will be welcomed with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie. You will have time to relax before dinner this evening. DAY TWO – ‘Christmas Day’ – Fort William and Spean Bridge This excursion takes us southwest along the shore of Loch Laggan and through Glen Spean to Spean Bridge, a small and attractive village on the southern end of the Great Glen, best known for its iconic Commando Memorial. We then travel on to Fort William, spending a little while here, before returning to Newtonmore for tea and coffee and shortbread at the hotel. It’s ‘Christmas Day’ and so this evening we will have a traditional Christmas Day dinner. Will we see Santa? DAY THREE – ‘Hogmanay’ - Inverness Today we travel to the Capital of the Highlands, Inverness and the Spey Valley, after our day out we’ll be enjoying ‘Hogmanay’ tonight with a Taste of Tartan themed evening. DAY FOUR – Pitlochry This morning we will take a ride out to Pitlochry, a bustling little town where you can explore for a while, before we return to our hotel where we will have a quiz and prizes ahead of our dinner this evening. DAY FIVE – Departure After breakfast we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.

HOLIDAY HIGHLIGHTS Moffat | Edinburgh | Free Bar Offer | Entertainment | Inveraray We begin our pre-festive break with our exclusive home pick-up service, join your tour coach and travel north across the border into Scotland where we first visit Moffat, a vibrant, bustling town offering the warmest of Scottish welcomes. We’ll then continue to the Winnock hotel, in the pretty village of Drymen in the Trossachs. DAY TWO – Edinburgh – Christmas Day Today we head east to Edinburgh, firstly stopping for a photo stop at the impressive Kelpies equine sculptures, before we arrive in Edinburgh where the Christmas theme will continue as we explore this wonderful city, choose to visit the markets, or the bustling streets of Edinburgh, bursting with festive cheer. DAY THREE – Inveraray and Trossachs Tour - Hogmanay | Trossachs Tour | Gretna Green DAY ONE – Moffat and Arrival After a leisurely breakfast we’ll travel along the banks of Loch Lomond, and on to Inveraray. Overlooking the still waters of Loch Fyne, Inveraray is a traditional county town of Argyll. Established in 1745 by the 3rd Duke of Argyll, head of the powerful Clan Campbell, the town is an absolute set piece of Scottish Georgian architecture. Key buildings that are worth visiting include the neoclassical church, and Inveraray Jail and courthouse, now an award-winning museum that graphically recounts prison conditions from medieval times up until the 19th century. We’ll then return to our hotel to relax and enjoy some time before dinner this evening. DAY FOUR – Departure This morning before we return home full of festive spirit via a visit to historic Gretna Green.

Windermere DAY ONE – ‘Christmas Eve’ Arrival and Gala Dinner
We depart from your home and travel to Blackpool. Arriving mid- afternoon. Explore Blackpool before a Sparkling Wine Reception with mince pies, Christmas Eve Gala dinner, and evening entertainment. DAY TWO – ‘Christmas Day’ Gala Dinner and Show and Blackpool Your day is yours at leisure, so enjoy the hotel festivities, or any of the many Blackpool attractions before our ‘Christmas Day’ Gala Dinner and Christmas live themed show this evening. DAY THREE – ‘Boxing Day’ ‘A Taste of Lancashire’ Themed Dinner and The Lake District As always ‘Boxing Day’ is a great day to blow away the cobwebs. Today we take a scenic ride to the Lake District, exploring the area by coach, we arrive at Windermere. You may like to visit the World of Beatrix Potter, a wonderful attraction that brings the stories and characters to life. This evening, we have a Lancashire themed dinner. DAY FOUR – ‘New Year’s Eve’ Themed Banquet Dinner and Show and Blackpool Today is a day to relax, and this afternoon after perhaps a walk along the promenade in Blackpool we have live entertainment from 2pm – 4pm, followed by a ‘New Year’s Eve’ banquet dinner this evening and a themed live show. DAY FIVE – Departure After breakfast we leave our hotel and make our journey home with a stop en route.

This morning we enjoy a scenic drive along the beautiful Wye Valley to Tintern, dominated by the spectacular remains of Tintern Abbey. We spend time exploring the Abbey’s remains before visiting the craft and antique shops. We then admire the views from Symonds Yat before
returning to our hotel. Entertainment this evening. DAY THREE – Chepstow and Castell Coch
This morning, we visit Chepstow, the gateway to Wales, known for its cobbled streets and architecture. We then visit Castell Coch, a striking masterpiece built on the remains of a 13th-century castle. Its grand towers and opulent interiors make it a true architectural gem. Later, we return to the hotel for dinner and evening entertainment. DAY FOUR – Bath and Roman Baths Today, we explore Bath, known for its Georgian architecture, independent shops, and Roman history. A visit to the Roman Baths reveals ancient ruins and steaming spring waters. After time to explore the city, we return to the hotel for dinner and entertainment. DAY FIVE – Departure and Stratford-upon-Avon After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home, stopping at Stratford-upon-Avon on the way.
