HOLIDAY HIGHLIGHTS Sidmouth | Torquay | Exeter | Seasonal Entertainment | Traditional Christmas Theme DAY ONE – Arrival We depart from your home, and journey to the south coast. Arrive at your hotel late afternoon, time to relax before dinner. DAY TWO – Sidmouth Spend the day exploring the charming seaside town of Sidmouth, known for its Regency-era architecture, beautiful gardens, and stunning coastal views. Take a leisurely stroll along the Esplanade, admire the striking red cliffs of the Jurassic Coast, or visit Connaught Gardens for a peaceful retreat. Wander through the town’s independent shops, enjoy a bite to eat at one of the many cafés, or simply relax on the beach and soak up the tranquil atmosphere of this timeless resort. DAY THREE – Torquay This morning after breakfast we travel to Torquay where we have time at leisure. This busy harbour town has something for everyone. We’ll arrive back at our hotel in time to enjoy a festive treat of Christmas Cake and tea and coffee at 3.30pm in the Faulkner Bar. Time then to relax before dinner this evening. DAY FOUR – Exeter Experience the charm of Exeter as we soak up the holiday spirit. Wander through the twinkling Christmas market set against the stunning backdrop of Exeter Cathedral, where you’ll find an array of stalls, treats, and the inviting aroma of mulled wine. Take time to explore the city’s historic streets, browse seasonal displays, or simply enjoy the cheerful atmosphere. Later, we return to the hotel with time to unwind before a delightful dinner and evening entertainment. DAY FIVE – Departure This morning after breakfast we begin our journey home with comfort stops en route.

HOLIDAY HIGHLIGHTS Paignton | Totnes | Exeter | Festive Theme DAY ONE – Arrival We depart from your home and join the coach to travel south to Paignton, comfort stops en route, we’ll arrive at your hotel with time Enjoy a leisurely day in Paignton, where you can soak up the seaside charm at your own pace. Take a stroll along the bustling promenade, admire the views from Paignton Pier, or relax in one of the many cafés overlooking the bay. If you fancy exploring, wander through the town’s shops or visit the picturesque harbour. With its sandy beaches and vibrant atmosphere, Paignton offers plenty of ways to enjoy your day before returning to the hotel for an evening of entertainment. DAY THREE – Totnes to relax before dinner. DAY TWO – Paignton Today we have time at leisure in Totnes on the River Dart. A trip to Totnes is not complete without a visit to the Brutus Stone, which can be found in Fore Street, set into the pavement. This stone is meant to mark the spot where Trojan Prince, Brutus, disembarked from his ship. As he stepped ashore on to the stone he said “Here I stand, and here I rest, and this good town shall be called Totnes”. DAY FOUR – Exeter Today, we visit the historic Cathedral city of Exeter, a small city with a big personality. Dating back over 2,000 years, Exeter is rich in history and home to the award-winning Royal Albert Memorial Museum. The city boasts a vibrant cultural scene, a diverse mix of eateries, and a reputation as one of the foodie capitals of the Southwest. Surrounded by stunning countryside and near the Jurassic Coast, Exeter offers plenty to see and do before we return to the hotel. DAY FIVE – Departure After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our journey home, with comfort stops en route.

You can choose if you’d like to stay local to the hotel or make the short journey to Torquay to explore the resort and enjoy your day before returning to our hotel later this afternoon where you can relax before our Sherry Reception and Christmas Dinner this evening. DAY THREE – ‘New Year’s Eve’ - Teignmouth & Dawlish This morning we’ll make our way along the cost to Teignmouth. The town has beautiful Georgian buildings and a lovely high street for a bit of retail therapy. Wander along the promenade or visit the Arts Quarter which is full of galleries. Or just relax in one of the many cafes and watch the world go by. Later we’ll visit Dawlish, a traditional seaside town, and home to the famous black swans. Returning to our hotel with time to relax before our Sparkling Wine Reception and dinner this evening. DAY FOUR – Departure After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.

Later we’ll return to our hotel with time to relax before dinner and entertainment this evening. DAY THREE – Newquay ‘Christmas Day’ Enjoy a relaxing Christmas Day in Newquay, where you can spend the day at your leisure, taking in the charming town or unwinding at the hotel. In the evening, we will gather for a traditional Christmas dinner, followed by festive entertainment to complete the celebrations. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the holiday in a peaceful coastal setting. DAY FOUR – St Ives and ‘New Years Eve’ Today we have an excursion to St Ives where there is a myriad of little shops and art galleries to explore along its cobbled streets and picturesque harbour. Later we’ll return to our hotel with time to relax before our ‘New Year’s Eve’ party this evening. Fancy dress is optional – the theme is hats and streamers. DAY FIVE – Departure After a hearty Cornish breakfast this morning we leave our hotel to make our journey home with comfort stops en route.
