Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with tea, coffee, and delicious mince pies. Our Christmas Eve celebration kicks off with a festive drink, such as Bucks Fizz or Sherry, in the Gallery Lounge. Following this, we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner before an evening filled with entertainment, ensuring a perfect start to the festive season. DAY TWO – Exeter Christmas Market - ‘Christmas Day’ At breakfast time this morning, Santa has left us each a little gift to open! We then journey to the city of Exeter where we will spend the day enjoying the Christmas Market with the stunning backdrop of Exeter Cathedral. The markets feature a selection of crafts a fresh food to buy. The bustling atmosphere is helped by delicious food stalls and Bavarian-style bars. We then return to the hotel to enjoy a traditional Christmas day lunch and an evening of festive entertainment. DAY THREE – Torquay – ‘New Years Eve’ After breakfast, the day is free to enjoy exploring the coastal resort of Torquay at leisure. Make your way back to the hotel in the afternoon to enjoy tea and coffee and a festive treat. We will be entertained before dinner by a quiz. After dinner, we will bring in the ‘New Year’ with mulled wine, dancing, and festive entertainment. DAY FOUR – Departure After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.

Our day concludes with a visit to the picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey, a favourite among artists for its colourful cottages, bobbing boats, and scenic waterfront—perfect for soaking up the coastal charm. DAY THREE – Looe Enjoy a leisurely day exploring Looe’s harbourside and charming town centre. Wander through the narrow streets lined with independent shops, enjoy fresh seafood at a local eatery, or take a scenic stroll along the coastal path for breathtaking sea views. Two imposing gates, St. Ethelbert’s and Erpingham lead to the Tombland area, once a Saxon marketplace. A visit to the Cathedral is a must, as is the cobbled Elm Hill and the Castle Mall shopping complex. We have time for lunch and to explore before returning to the hotel via the charming Norfolk Broads. DAY THREE – Great Yarmouth Enjoy a day at your own pace, discovering the charm of Great Yarmouth. Stroll along the Golden Mile, where you’ll find arcades, cafés, and traditional seaside attractions. Wander through the historic South Quay area, home to charming cobbled streets and historic buildings. Visit the bustling market or take a leisurely walk along the scenic seafront gardens. If you’re feeling adventurous, head to the Venetian Waterways for a peaceful waterside stroll. However you choose to spend your day, Great Yarmouth offers something for everyone. DAY FOUR – Southwold, Oulton Broad and Lowestoft Today’s excursion takes us first down the coast and into Suffolk to the timeless and delightful resort of Southwold where little has changed since Victorian times.
