Proposed Programme Management The below programme allows us to extract the maximum productivity from key stages in the process (such as campaign set up, inclusive advertising programme and proactive search and interview stages) thus allowing us to generate the strongest possible shortlist whilst securing acceptance within the agreed timeline, and therefore allowing the appointed candidate to take up the post as quickly as possible following this subject to notice period negotiation.
Competency Based Assessment Using MRG’s bespoke Weighted Selection Matrix ensures that decisions are made based on objective evidence and data, rather than subjective gut feeling and assumption. Each role is meticulously broken down into agreed weighted competencies which candidates are thoroughly assessed against, with supporting evidence given and clear, precise information provided. The Selection Matrix ensures that selection is both robust and auditable and provides the client with a tool to compare and contrast candidate’s skills, measuring those skills not only against the experience criteria but against the skills and experience of other candidates.

Candidate Assesment Thorough candidate assessment and analysis plays a pivotal role in our hiring process. It ensures that only the most exceptional candidates, free from any unconscious bias, proceed to the interview stage. At MRG, our process is designed to be data and evidence-based. We aim to assess candidates comprehensively, beyond their CV and years of experience, to identify their true potential. We make decisions based on three areas of candidate assessment:
Experience
Ideal Candidate
Behaviours
Skills

INVENTIVE in how we attract a diverse pool of candidates
RELENTLESS in client brief analysis, market mapping and campaign delivery.
Upon launch, we advertise your role across our Linkedin Page, website & leading aggregate websites. Our teams are all trained in writing highly engaging job posts – there’s no copy & pasting of Job Descriptions here. This element of the campaign targets those candidates who are active and looking for work. We reach out to our trusted network of industry contacts, acting as a “PR” agent, to present the opportunity in a way which makes inactive candidates consider a move. This critical part of the campaign is how we attract the best and most sought-after talent in the industry. Our CRM houses over 25,000 candidates and our professional Linkedin network is even bigger. Our in-house graphic designer develops professional, high quality candidate briefing documents, using The Turing Building brand guidelines and copy. The candidate briefing document acts as an attraction tool to potential candidates, gives additional detail of the job description, company, and outlines the recruitment process. A well- designed document acts as a fantastic marketing tool on a public campaign. We will also launch a featured client page on our website which has proven highly successful for previous client campaigns. You can explore them here. We can also work with your team to create engaging, original material such as deep-dive interviews with the hiring manager, progress videos from the building site and more. We can explore these options with you once agreed at the recruitment briefing meeting.
A meticulously detailed briefing meeting is undertaken – between MRG and all key stakeholders: advisors, clients and partners. We invest significant time and effort to truly understand what is going to make this appointment successful. We delve into not only the technical abilities required, but also the behaviours and values that the team needs. MRG is relentless in blueprinting markets and understanding each role brief—each role is unique, and each campaign has to be different. On average, we identify 84 candidates for each role. We find the obvious candidates at competitors and aligned business/assets/destinations. We look beyond the obvious. Using our understanding of our markets, we scour the candidate pool with forensic detail to find candidates from diverse backgrounds who possess aligned competencies.
