Pp ublic art In the past decade, projects
have spread new paintings and sculptures around Grand Island. Murals have brightened alleys and sidewalks in the Railside district. Large new sculptures invite visitors into the community and the library. Smaller more meditative bronzes were placed at the courthouse and inside the airport's terminal.

Liederkranz Live Live music fills this club's
ballroom twice a month. These Railside district shows are for all ages and open to the public in the historic Liederkranz building. In an interview with their booking agent, Redbeard the Hippie pointed out how Grand Island is a melting pot of musical styles, mentioning
that he'd been to rap shows, rock shows, Latino shows. Liederkranz Live bears witness to this variety.
