Heating and plumbing distributor and merchant C&F Quadrant Ltd has supplied AIC’s Nesta Chrome range of wall-hung cascade boilers to a variety of commercial sites throughout Northern Ireland. A recent project, in partnership with Hanna Mechanical Services, involved the supply and commissioning of 150kW boilers from the range for the North Coast’s first five-star hotel, Dunluce Lodge in Portrush. Feeding in cascade into two plate exchangers, AIC’s high-efficiency condensing boilers cover a wide range of outputs, making them an ideal solution for a variety of applications from health and education boards to the hospitality sector. Ranging from 60kW to 150kW, the Nesta Chrome is characterised by high efficiency, a modulation ratio of 10:1, compact dimensions and its light weight. Offering flexible heating solutions for larger output requirements, the boilers can be installed in a cascade system. Cascade installation also ensures delivery
of efficient modulation and minimal loss of output during servicing. With additional external controls, up to six boilers totalling 900kW can be cascaded. The cascades can be installed in linear formation or back to back. The fundamental component of all Nesta Chrome boilers is a stainless-steel heat exchanger. The unique ‘firetube’ design is a product with market-proven technology, manufactured and distributed worldwide for many years.

performance, making the boiler one of the most efficient in its class. To date, in excess of 500,000 firetube heat exchangers are delivering reliable service to satisfied customers worldwide.
