HEAT MERCHANTS OFFERS TECHNICAL DESIGN, INSTALLER TRAINING AND COMMISSIONING OF HEATING SYSTEMS FEATURING THE NEW PANASONIC L&M SERIES HEAT PUMPS… Cost-effective heat pumps for newbuilds & refurbishments
The Panasonic Aquarea air-to-water heat pump range is one of the widest on the market with outputs from 3kW to 30kW, offering solutions for most properties, whatever their size and heating demands. Suitable for newbuild and refurbishment projects, the solutions are cost-effective with minimised environmental impact. R290 natural refrigerant: The Panasonic Aquarea L&M series utilises R290 next- generation low global warming potential (GWP) natural refrigerant as a more sustainable, environmentally-friendly alternative refrigerant gas. R290 does not contain chemical agents that emit greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. It is a very energy-efficient gas, making it a viable and sustainable alternative to synthetic refrigerant gases. Hydraulic: The L&M Series hydraulic system allows for easier installation as there are only water pipes between the indoor unit and the inside of the building. As the outdoor unit is hermetically sealed, no F-gas certification is required for installation or commissioning. MODELS • The Aquarea M Series T-CAP range can maintain the rated heating capacity even at -20°C outdoor temperature, without
building regulations and best practices. The team has expertise in specifying and estimating for a variety of projects to offer the best and most energy-efficient solutions to meet any requirements and budget. Retrofit projects: Designs are provided to installers on request from the local branches or renewables specialists. To provide a bespoke design for retrofit homes, the design team needs house plans including elevations and cut sections or adequate drawings or sketches with dimensions; a Dwelling Report file (available from BER assessors); and a listing of all radiator sizes and types to determine flow rates. The Technical Team supports installers for any grant-funded projects by completing all the technical information and calculations on the designer/ installer tab of the SEAI grant application, which can then be signed off by the contractor. Training: Installer training and ongoing support is provided for any Heat Merchants customers on the complete Panasonic range.
requiring an electrical heater. This makes it an ideal solution for locations with extremely low temperatures. It is also suitable for retrofit projects as it can achieve water outlet temperatures of up to 75°C. For any larger projects, the M series can be installed in cascade up to 300kW. • The Aquarea L Series High Performance range is suitable for a wide range of properties that demand exceptional efficiency and high energy savings. Featuring COPs as high as 5.33 and water outlet temperatures of up to 75°C, this solution is perfect for either underfloor heating or radiators. Technical design services: The Heat Merchants Technical Services team can provide a complete design for heating systems, hot water and mechanical ventilation for both newbuild and retrofit domestic projects. All designs are supported by professional indemnity insurance which offers a guarantee that systems will perform as intended when installed in accordance with Heat Merchants’ specified design. These bespoke solutions include a comprehensive technical design with mechanical and electrical schematics which will be in accordance with current
