A leading UK manufacturer of water-boosting products has appointed a new group business development manager for Northern Ireland and Scotland. Gail Burns has joined Salamander Pumps from outdoor decking supplier and distributor Gripsure, where she most recently held the position of merchant account manager. In her new role, Gail is responsible for developing and implementing plans to generate new business with builders and trade merchants, buying groups and independent contractors across Northern Ireland and Scotland. She will also be tasked with generating sales opportunities for pipe clip manufacturer Talon, commercial washroom solutions provider Cistermiser, and Keraflo, a leading manufacturer of water management solutions. Sunderland-headquartered Salamander Pumps has widened its product offer over the last three years to provide its customers with new innovations and achieve its expansion targets.
