A CHANGE IS GONNA COME

THE JUSTICE OF BUNNY KING DIRECTED BY GAYSORN THAVAT

Bunny King is a mother of two, who is best described as a rough-cut diamond with a sketchy past. Attempting to leave this past behind, she works intersections as a ‘squeegee bandit’ using her quick wit to charm money from motorists. However, Bunny finds her frustrations difficult to contain, which leads her to clash with both the public and the police. She is battling the system to regain custody of her children, and struggling to find a permanent place to live in a city with a housing crisis – to top it off, while staying at her sister’s place, Bunny finds her sister’s boyfriend is sexually abusing her young niece. Needless to say, a full on confrontation makes things even more complicated, and Bunny’s fiery temper doesn’t help the situation. As she tries to work out how to best help her niece – while still desperately searching to be reconciled with her children – some questionable choices paint Bunny as the villian... Her battle has only just begun. Essie Davis, Thomasin McKenzie. IN CINEMAS NATIONWIDE, 29TH  SEE MORE
