HRConnect - The Community Forum HRConnect links members with other members in a powerful open forum. This member-only on- line communication vehicle allows users to ask questions and seek feedback on HR related topics.
HRConnect expanded its reach to include several Texas SHRM affiliated chapters, whose members were granted access to the robust conversation portal. Now, HRConnect not only provides DallasHR’s 2,300+ members a vehicle to ask ques- tions, but an additional state-wide base of more than 4,000 participants who can share informa- tion, ask questions and receive feedback. During the year, a total of 539 new question threads were started with 2,132 responses from the community.
Spreading the News The Bulletin , our bi-monthly newsletter is designed to keep members and nonmembers (who request a copy) apprised of upcoming event dates, recaps of past events and fun and important in- formation about the Chapter. More than 6,800 professionals on average receive the newsletter every two weeks. The Bulletin was distributed 21 times in 2019 and has an average open rate of 17%.
