The grape varieties grown at Monterosola pro- duce red wines with Sangiovese, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot; and white wines with Manzoni Bianco, Grechetto, Viognier and Vermentino. The pruning and management of the vine leaves is done manually, as is the harvesting of the grapes. These traditional methods allow the quality of the grapes to be constantly monitored and the best bunches to be harves- ted at the right time and then vinified using the latest technology.
