We are Henning and Steffen Strauss, the brothers in charge of Engelbert Strauss. Better known as simply STRAUSS, our family company is Germany’s leader in workwear and utility gear. For more than 70 years, our family has been designing and manufacturing world-class workwear from our humble home in Germany, and we are excited to finally present our gear to you, the hardest workers in the United States. Some things you should know: We take German engineering seriously. Have we considered every detail, every thread on each piece of clothing? You bet- cha. Have we tested our gear on landscapers and modified each piece based on their feedback? Oh yeah, we have. Have we probably over thought this? Almost certainly. But that is the German way, and we’re confident ours is the best workwear you’ll ever wear. At the forefront of our clothing design is comfort. When you’re working in clot- hes for sixteen, seventeen, eighteen hours a day, they better be comfy. That’s why you’ll notice our work pants have all been developed with extra stretch in the legs as well as a flexible waistband. This stretch eliminates tugging and pulling while maintaining the durability we know you need. Our next key criteria is functionality. Everything you see and feel is there for a reason - to make your job just a little bit easier.
