Irrigation Repair Fundamentals Time: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM Location: C102

This how-to session will teach those with no irrigation experience how to identify and handle common repairs. Through both presentations and hands-on exercises, attendees will learn irrigation servicing including how to replace a sprinkler head, fix simple valve issues and other irrigation repairs. This session is a great way to jump-start learning for those who want to work in irrigation service or who periodically need to fix simple irrigation problems.

Pruning young trees is paramount to the development of a structurally sound mature tree. Learn about the different pruning systems, objectives, pruning timing, proper tools, and sanitation. This talk and demonstration will highlight the key components of the industry standard for tree and shrub pruning (ANSI A300), and what elements of that standard will guarantee you the greatest success with your clients.
