Mulligan’s Mutt Madness Finds New Home
KEC West Wing “goes to the dogs” as the 6 th annual adoption event relocates to Mulligan’s Garden Park.

The hounds are on the move for the sixth annual Mulligan’s Mutt Madness, the national pet adoption event hosted by the TurfMutt Foundation. New this year, the tail-wagging event will be held in Mulligan’s Garden Park, located in the West Wing of the Kentucky Expo Center (KEC). “Mulligan’s Garden Park will be the perfect place to host Mutt Madness, because it allows the dogs to interact with attendees in a mock park filled with grass, plants, and shrubs,” said Kris Kiser, President and CEO of the TurfMutt Foundation, the education
arm of Equip Exposition. “We’re looking forward to see the dogs’ personalities shine in their favorite place — the outdoor space that landscapers create.” Kiser added, “Throughout Equip, Mulligan’s Garden Park will be available to attendees who want to hang out and take a break from the show floor in a garden oasis.” ”Mulligan’s Mutt Madness is hosted in partnership with the Kentucky Humane Society (KHS), a private, nonprofit organization that is Kentucky’s largest pet adoption agency. Founded in 1884, KHS is also the state’s
oldest animal welfare organization. “KHS is excited to return for Mutt Madness again in 2024,” said Alisa Gray, President and CEO of the KHS. “Through this partnership, we have found homes for over 60 dogs in the last five years. We can’t wait to match even more animals with their people this October!” The TurfMutt Foundation invites dog lovers and potential pet parents to come and meet the adoptable dogs at Mulligan’s Mutt Madness 2024 on Thursday, October 17 from 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Who knows? You may just meet your new best friend.
