I grew up in a small town of about 6,000 people in upstate New York. It seemed like everyone had something going for them but me, and it sucked.
This is who I was growing up:
I was short.
I had goofy teeth.
I was 4′ 9″ and ninety pounds going into tenth grade and the only one in my class who hadn’t reached puberty yet. That was a lot of fun.
