About Brangus Bulls Registered Brangus bulls are 3/8 Brahman/Zebu and 5/8 Angus. The Foundation parents from both breeds must be registered and recorded with IBBA. The Brangus bull is a popular choice with commercial producers - especially those in an adverse environment as the Brahman influence excels in disease and pest resistance as well as heat tolerance.
