• Chevron is able to simplify management of their S/4 solution; it is more cost-effective, and upgrades are easier for them. • SAP RISE enables and accelerates business process transformation via a smart clean core approach and leveraging the latest innovations from SAP. • SAP-as-a-Service accelerates transformation of Chevron IT operating model

• Move to RISE supported corporate mandate to reduce costs & accelerate value realization across the enterprise. • Chevron enterprise-wide re-org in-progress (2025-2027) targeting a 20% reduction in headcount. • Brand new execs & stakeholders at Chevron this year creating significant challenges transition from contractual agreement to move-to-RISE execution

• Moving them from the NS2-on-SHC-on-Azure environment to ECS on Azure. • SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition and taking more of a brownfield approach with downstream • Customer is live on S/4HANA for their Upstream business with planned deployment to support most of their remaining businesses • Customer has also made a significant investment in SAP’s asset management solutions.
