• SCE commenced their ERP Transformation Journey in 2022 starting with their business case powered by Signavio capabilities and are now in their implementation phase after successfully procuring the following in 2024: • SCE fully adopted SAP's Business Suite Infused with AI strategy through RISE Premium Plus, encompassing nine LoB solutions and SAP Design Success services.
• Outdated Technology : The existing system lacks integration with modern tools like AI and automation, and support will end by 2027 • Rising Costs : Operational costs continue to increase as the system fails to meet the growing demands of energy transitions and safety requirements • Operational Inefficiencies : There is a lack of coordination across teams, with manual processes slowing down employees and reducing overall productivity
• Founded in 1886, Edison is a public utility holding company with subsidiaries like Southern California Edison (SCE) and Edison Energy Group. SCE serves 15 million people across 50,000 square miles in California, employs about 12,000 people, and generated $17.6 billion in revenue in 2024, a 7% increase from the previous year. It has provided electric service for 136 years and focuses on clean, reliable energy.
• Addressed $40M in TCV renewals, restructuring 2024–2027 orders and increasing CCB.
• Sold in SAP Field Service Management by reclaiming a 2022 loss to Microsoft in Field Service Management with a SAP-led PoC. • SCE is now the largest consumer of SAP BTM, with a $5.9M annual commitment for SAP Signavio and LeanIX. • Adopted SAP's XP&A strategy with SAP IBP for operational planning—one of the first utilities to do so.
• Transitioned from Ariba Discount Management to Taulia, addressing EoL challenges.

• QBRs & SAP Signavio Introduction (2022): As the new account team, we introduced a robust governance model featuring quarterly business reviews (QBRs). These sessions showcased the transformative potential of SAP Signavio, demonstrating how it could support the NextGen ERP program in maintaining a clean core, driving continuous innovation, and enabling process redesign powered by Cloud ERP and BTP. • EBC Session in Palo Alto(2023): Executive Briefing Center session in Palo Alto, attended by Todd Inlander (CIO), Heather Rivard (SVP of Transmission and Distribution), and the NextGen ERP team delivered two immersive days, we showcased SAP's Business Suite Infused with AI strategy, demonstrating how SAP could seamlessly power SCE's operational processes. This session solidified SCE's confidence in SAP's vision as they kicked off their ERP program shortly after. • SAP Sapphire, SAP for Utilities & Expanded QBRs (2024): With 45+ attendees participating across SAP Sapphire and SAP for Utilities, SCE embraced a broader understanding of SAP's strategic vision. These events, paired with an increase in QBRs to over 20 solution-specific and procurement-focused sessions, helped bring SAP's strategy to life for SCE, the NextGen program, and a 100% renewal rate since 2022.
• SCE’s currently in implementation phase with go live expectations for FSM in 2026, go live expectations for S/4 RISE in 2027 and incremental innovation go live in 2028.
