How SAP solved a problem for the customer?
3 things that helped drive the strategy
• Reinforce RISE differentiation by sharing ECS delivery metrics: # of tickets, mean time to repair, number of S4 upgrades per week, etc. Followed by a presentation in Walldorf, and the sheer volume of proactive measures taken by ECS to manage RISE customer environments with so little downtime really impressed HP. • Communicating to HP leadership SAP’s strategy and intent: Strong and coordinated team messaging delivered by the account team, RISE global leadership and reiterated by CK : "SAP is committed to RISE and if RISE fails so too will SAP." Critical to addressing concerns HP had following an aborted attempt to deploy S4 on HEC. • Getting HP to devote resources for weeks of onsite RISE scoping before the business case was complete. Huge win as the scoping sessions were a critical component.
• HP was experiencing SAP downtime issues while managing SAP on AWS themselves.
