• Technical upgrade of existing ECC system to S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition with go live planned for November 2026 • New operating model with SAP managing ERP and BTP technical operations through ECS and CAS • CoE with TMR, SAP and Deloitte where IT and business can work together with the integrated tool chain of Signavio, LeanIX, CALM and Tricentis • Clean core journey with incremental modernisation at a manageable pace leveraging Business AI
• Primary drivers (Risk)– infrastructure (HP; run by Qld Govt provider CITEC) and application (SAP) end of life events in 2025, 2027 respectively • Secondary drivers – outdated technology, manual processes, data silos, limited scalability, increased cost profile, security concerns, restricted organisational agility • TMR don’t want to be a technology shop. They want to focus on the business of TMR!
• The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering a single integrated transport network across road, rail, air, and sea for the state of Queensland. • They run a single SAP ECC system for finance, procurement, HR/payroll hosted internally and using on-premise single metric (FTE based) licensing.
