Thank you very much for considering High Point Genetics for your herd bull needs. We are proud of these bulls and believe they are the most uniform, highest quality group we have raised, and we are anxious to show them to you. We want you to know that our bulls are grown on pasture, not a feedlot. Post weaning, through near sale day, our bulls run on 100 acres of pasture where they are fed. We believe this is important for their longevity as they remain athletic and ready to go to work. They should be one of the leanest sets of bulls you will find. Our cow herd is managed under similar conditions to our commercial bull customers. Our cows typically graze well into December on southern Iowa fescue and are brought home just before January calving begins. We do not own a feed wagon but rely on bale unrollers and a hay grinder to feed our cows and heifers throughout the winter months. Throughout our sale book you will notice bulls raised by cows in their teens and references to the production of granddams and great granddams of our bulls. We value longevity and cows that do their job year in and year out. All the bulls have been DNA evaluated with the results reflected in their EPDs. We continue to offer a Shared First Season Breeding Guarantee, Volume Discounts, Free Board on the Bulls until the first part of April and Free Delivery within 300 miles. In addition, all the bulls in the sale over one year of age have been semen tested by Dr. Shawn Nicholson of the Stuart Vet Clinic and passed a Breeding Soundness Exam prior to the sale. The bulls were pictured and videoed at Christmas time and can be found on our website, www.highpointbulls.com and DVAuction.com. Again, this year the sale will be broadcast live on DVauction.com.
