Fortegra 2022 Living Our Values Report

Living Our Values Fortegra

2022 ESG Report

1 in 8 women in the United States will develop breast cancer in her lifetime.

Fortegra hosted the “Buddy Check 12 Bus” – a mobile mammography bus that provides 3D screening mammograms to women throughout Northeast Florida. Free mammograms were provided to our associates along with an informational seminar led by local First Coast News anchor Jeannie Blaylock. Early detection is critical for the successful treatment of breast cancer. When breast cancer is detected early, before it has spread to other parts of the body, treatment options are more effective and less invasive, resulting in better outcomes and a higher likelihood of survival. Regular breast cancer screenings, including mammograms, clinical breast exams, and self-exams, can help detect breast cancer in its early stages. Fortegra also donated funds to the Untied Breast Cancer Foundation. UBCF’s profits are used for various programs and treatments like holistic treatments, breast screenings, scholarships, and breast reconstructive surgery.
