29 Please note: Online Dual-Enrollment courses are available from Northeast State Community College and East Tennessee State University. Interested students should register for those specific courses with the representative from those respective institutions. Students must get prior approval to receive high school credit for an online college course. Please work with your West Ridge counselor to meet all required criteria. Middle College ● West Ridge High School Juniors have the option to pursue the Middle College track with Northeast State which allows participating students to enroll full-time with Northeast State each semester of their junior and senior years in pursuit of the Associate of Science – General TBR Transfer degree. Students enroll in Northeast State dual enrollment courses taught at West Ridge HS, Northeast State Blountville, and online. Students can utilize the Middle College Scholarship, which is worth $2,000 each semester of the junior and senior year. Twenty West Ride HS Middle College students are also eligible to use the Sullivan County College and Career Readiness Scholarship which will pay the remaining tuition balance each semester. Have you taken the ACT? If you have not taken the ACT are you planning on taking it before December of your Junior year? If you do not have an ACT score or a qualifying ACT score have you scheduled an Accuplacer test for NeSCC or ETSU? Accuplacer Information
