Welcome to our 4th annual yearling bull sale .
Join us on February 13, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at the Ranch, 9 miles west of Ainsworth on Hwy 20 then 18 miles south on Moon Lake Ave for our annual yearling bull sale. Sale will be held indoors. A complimentary lunch will be provided starting at 11:30 am. In 2022 our family purchased the heart of the Dan & Sandy Clapper cow herd so you will be looking at top angus bloodlines from premium angus cattle. This herd is a result of several decades of AI breeding, selecting breeding stock that will produce top-notch replacement females and feeder cattle that will excel in the cattle industry. Our cows are expected to raise that big calf on sandhills grass with no creep feed, while maintaining good body condition. Feel free to come inspect the bulls at the ranch prior to sale day. We appreciate the support and interest you’ve shown in our program.

TERMS All announcements from the auction block will take precedence over any written/printed materials. Martinsen Angus, Kurt & Julie Martinsen, Derek & Brittney Martinsen, & Wyatt & Sophia Martinsen assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents which may occur. All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk. Bulls will be fertility tested late March. In the event a bull does not pass the fertility exam, the buyer has the option to select a replacement bull or have the purchase price fully refunded. The bulls have had a complete vaccination program.
DELIVERY Free delivery within 250 miles. Bulls will be delivered starting April 1.
GUARANTEE All bulls are guaranteed for the first breeding season against breeding injury. First breeding season is defined as the 60 days from first turn out of the bull(s). Guarantee DOES NOT cover death loss. If a replacement bull is not available - credit will be given (purchase price less salvage value) to be used at next year’s sale. Please notify us as soon as possible should an injury occur.
