PRESCRIPTION SAFETY EYEWEAR Inadequate or inappropriate eye protection and failure to observe occupational health and safety practices are the major causes of workplace eye injuries. Bunzl Safety & Lifting will help protect your employees’ vision and ensure optimal performance and comfort at work, with a custom prescription lens safety eyewear service. ONSITE TESTING Working with PSG Eyewear, we can service your site with the PSG Mobile onsite eye testing unit or alternatively, visit one of PSG’s network of over 650 independent optometrists. PSG provides the highest level of eye protection, while satisfying each individual’s need for style and comfort. There are over 30 frames available with a variety of specialist lenses including transition, polarised and anti-fog options.

RESPIRATOR FITTING & DUST/SILICA ASSESSMENT SERVICES Correct fitting respirators must seal to the wearer’s face in order to provide expected protection. This includes disposable respirators (also called “filtering face-pieces”). Fit testing is required by Australian New Zealand Standard AS/NZS1715 before a user wears a respirator on the job, and should be assessed at least annually. Together with our partners 3M, Bunzl Safety & Lifting can provide Respirator Fit Testing as well as Dust & Dilica Testing which involves identifying respiratory hazards, evaluating exposure levels, and effective ways to control exposure

HEARING & NOISE LEVEL TESTING Together with our partners 3M, Bunzl Safety & Lifting can provide the E-A-Rfit service program, which is designed to help validate hearing protection and compliance with hearing protection fit testing. It delivers an objective, quantitative measurement of each employee’s protection, so you can better protect your workforce while helping employees understand the importance of correctly fitting the right earplugs for the surrounding work environment. SITE SAFETY SERVICES & LOCK OUT/TAG OUT KITS Creating a visually safe workplace is crucial for site safety and must comply with Australian Standard Safety requirements. Bunzl Safety & Lifting and Brady will come to your site to assess potential dangers and provide recommendations on appropriate signage and tags for the workplace. At Bunzl Safety & Lifting we understand the importance of a good uniform, and how it supports your brand as well as protecting your workers. We also understand the importance of offering an intergrated service for uniforms complete with quality embroidery services and tailored online ordering for your staff. Our experienced customer service and embroidery staff provide embroidery, screen printing, additional taping and alterations to your uniform orders according to your individual company needs. We will co-ordinate all aspects of this service, from logo and employee name set up, through to artwork approvals, required customisations and order delivery. VENDOR MANAGED INVENTORY CONTROL OPTIONS Bunzl Safety offers many ways to manage your safety equipment securely on-site. Providing supplies and safety equipment at the point of use provides several benefits: • Productivity increases due to less walking time to central stores and warehouses • Software captures all transactions, providing business intelligence and reducing manual paperwork • Machines offer configurable, accessible storage easily • Auto-replenishment saves order processing expense and keeps items in stock CONTAINER SHOP The on-site container shop enables convenient and immediate access to workwear, PPE and other safety equipment. A fitting area for uniform fittings can also be provided within the container if required. The container shop maintains peak efficiency with a service that brings equipment for the job to your site.

TOOLBOX COIL VENDING The ToolBox Vending Machine includes a full computer touch screen. Employees can search for items that may be located in the current machine or another vending machine onsite. It also enables receipt of purchase orders at the device and delivers a flexible dispensing layout which allows a wide range of products to be dispensed. WEIGHSTATION VENDING To allow for bulkier items, we also offer the WeighStation vending machine, which uses advanced patented scale and bin technology to immediately sense when an item has been removed or returned into a bin.

CM MOBILE PLUS APPLICATION CM Mobile Plus is an iOS application that allows users to perform scanner functions using a Smart phone or iPad.

To save on down time bringing lifting and safety equipment to our laboratory, our fully LEEA qualified inspectors can travel to site to undertake the necessary monthly, quarterly or yearly inspections. Alternatively, lifting equipment can be dropped off at select Bunzl Safety branches for the required inspection. Accredited OUR ADVANCED ELECTRONIC INSPECTION & ASSET MANAGEMENT SYSTEM The Bunzl Safety & Lifting Electronic Inspection System is an advanced lifting equipment asset management system that allows customers to view their lifting equipment securely on-line at any time. The system involves inspectors using an a smart device to carry out onsite inspections and upload data electronically to the database. Equipment Registers, test certificates and results can then be easily accessed by the customer - at anytime.

NATA ACCREDITED TESTING, REPAIR & ENGINEERING SERVICES

IN-HOUSE OR MOBILE TESTING AND REPAIRS With NATA accredited testing capacity to 1,000 tonnes in-house and 35 tonne capacity mobile test machines, we have the facilities and expertise to test a broad range of lifting and rigging equipment. As with equipment inspection results, test results can be added to the Bunzl Safety & Lifting Electronic Asset Database, which can be securely accessed at any time by our customers. Our experienced technicians can also service or repair lifting and rigging equipment both on-site and offsite and we pride ourselves on offering quick turnaround times on all gear sent back to our workshops for repairs. Most Bunzl Safety & Lifting branches have NATA accredited repair and test laboratories to ISO 17025 for maintaining lifting and safety equipment, as well as both proof load and destruction testing services being available. Our full NATA accreditation also ensures that all lifting equipment tested by Bunzl Safety & Lifting is in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards and independently audited to international laboratory testing

ENGINEERED AND MANUFACTURED PRODUCT At Bunzl Safety & Lifting we understand that some heavy lifting and towing applications require custom requirements and expert technical know-how to deliver the safest, yet cost effective solution. We have full time engineering staff and quality assured manufacturing facilities for the design, manufacture and testing of equipment for those specialised applications. HEIGHT SAFETY SYSTEMS - INSTALLATION AND RE-CERTIFICATION The team at Bunzl Safety & Lifting are highly experienced at designing and installing Height Safety Systems and can work with owners and managers to ensure all needs and compliances are met. Just some of the height safety systems we have installed include those for the Australian Defence Force, various local Councils, the Brisbane Story Bridge Climb and various commercial buildings and powerstations nationally. Our trained engineers, consultants and certified installers can install systems strictly to manufacturer’s specifications and technical requirements, including: • Horizontal static lines • Anchorage points • Ladder systems and walkways

FIRE EXTINGUISHER TESTING Fire extinguishers are relatively simple devices to use. However, there are differences between them in terms of the elements contained within and where they should be applied. Fire extinguisher testing is necessary regularly and our Field Testing Officers an inspect the units, assess the surrounding environment and provide any maintenance required. SOLAR PANEL CLEANING Finally, our Technical Division can provide solar panel cleaning to the highest industry standard, ensuring your solar unit operates at peak working performance.

PALLET RACKING INSPECTIONS

To comply with WH&S laws, it is vital to have your racking inspected by a qualified person at least every 12 months. Often damage to racking may not be obvious or can be hidden from the untrained eye. Our experienced inspectors can undertake thorough checks and provide a report detailing any damage and recommended actions to ensure you comply with Australian Standard AS 4084:2012. BA & GAS DETECTION SERVICING At Bunzl Safety & Lifting we can offer our clients breathing apparatus and gas detection inspections, certifcation and servicing. The onsite service includes hand held personal gas detectors and 180 day recallibration as well as breathing apparatus testing.
