Together, we ensure that Shangri-La Eros remains a safe haven for all who enter its doors. Join us in honoring our heroes and embracing a culture of safety that extends beyond Fire Service Week—an enduring commitment to protecting lives and preserving peace of mind.
Summer batch Interns Academia
We are delighted to extend a warm welcome of our Summer Batch as we embark on their summer internship journey It is with great pleasure that we introduced our esteemed hotel to them, where hospitality meets excellence in the heart of the capital. Shangri-La Eros prides itself on fostering an environment of learning, growth, and passion for hospitality. Throughout the internship, they will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various departments, guided by experienced mentors dedicated to their development.
Grooming Session Well groomed colleagues is one of the prime requirement of our industry. Keeping in mind how important it is, a session was arranged to emphasize on how it made a powerful impact on our guests and colleagues alike. Colleagues thoroughly enjoyed this session and were found enjoying the fun activities during the session
First AID & CPR Session
We hosted a transformative First Aid & CPR training session, empowering participants with essential life saving skills. Amidst the luxury and elegance of the venue, a diverse group gathered to learn and practice techniques that could make a critical difference in emergencies. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, attendees immersed themselves in hands-on simulations and interactive learning modules. From assessing injuries to administering CPR, each participant gained practical knowledge and confidence in responding effectively to medical emergencies.
Mental Health Session A transformative mental health session unfolded, guiding participants on a journey of introspection and healing. Nestled amidst the bustling city, this oasis of tranquility became a haven for individuals seeking solace and support. Participants gathered with a shared purpose: to explore avenues of mental well-being under the guidance of
seasoned therapists and counselors. The session began with a gentle invocation of mindfulness, inviting everyone to center themselves in the present moment. As the soft hum of the city faded into the background, hearts opened up to receive insights and strategies for coping with life's challenges.
POSH Session
We hosted a crucial POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) training session led by distinguished experts Dhiraj Bhushan, Anita Burman, and Kiran Mehta . The session aimed to educate and empower our dedicated staff on the importance of fostering a safe and respectful workplace environment. Through insightful discussions and practical guidance, our team gained a deeper understanding of identifying, preventing, and addressing instances of workplace harassment. ICC members brought invaluable expertise and facilitated meaningful conversations, ensuring all participants felt equipped to uphold our organization's commitment to inclusivity and professionalism.
Fostac Learning
FOSTAC (Facilitation of Skills Training for Assessing Competency) training session was held on May 20, 2024. The training is designed to enhance the effectiveness of trainers and assessors by focusing on key competencies required for successful facilitation and assessment. The session aims to: Develop Effective Training Techniques: Gain insights into advanced methodologies for delivering impactful and engaging training. Enhance Assessment Skills: Learn strategies for evaluating trainee competency and providing constructive feedback.
Financial WellBeing Camp
The Financial Wellbeing Camp hosted by Aditya Birla Group at Shangri-La Eros was a transformative experience in personal finance education. Held amidst the participants immersed themselves in a series of enlightening workshops and interactive sessions led by seasoned financial experts. From budgeting tips to investment strategies, the camp covered a spectrum of topics essential for financial success and security. Participants gained practical insights and personalized advice tailored to their financial goals, empowering them to make informed decisions for their futures.
Financial Planning Session
Empowering Financial Well-being, we recently hosted an insightful financial planning session in collaboration with HDFC Bank, aimed at empowering individuals with essential financial knowledge and strategies. HDFC Bank's experts led engaging discussions on various aspects of financial planning, including savings, investments, insurance, and retirement planning. Attendees gained valuable insights into managing personal finances effectively and making informed decisions tailored to their financial goals. The session emphasized the importance of planning early and wisely, regardless of one's current financial situation. Interactive workshops and case studies provided practical guidance on budgeting, debt management, and building a robust financial portfolio.
Learning is a continuous journey We are delighted to announce the graduation of our latest
cohort of Emerging Leaders. While one batch of ELP graduated we kick started the second batch of 2024 to make sure that talent is developed on a continuous basis. Giving due importance to high potential colleagues at level 5 we have also started the JLP batch which is poised to graduate soon.

Annual day ceremony of Noida Deaf Society was a significant gesture of support and solidarity The event itself was a vibrant celebration, honoring the achievements and resilience of the deaf community. Against the backdrop of Noida Deaf Society's mission to empower individuals through education and skills development, Mr. Dhiraj Bhushan's visit highlighted the commitment to social responsibility and philanthropy. The occasion provided an opportunity for meaningful interaction and understanding, bridging gaps and fostering a spirit of collaboration between the corporate world represented by Shangri-La Eros New Delhi and the nonprofit sector represented by Noida Deaf Society.

Global Townhall Inspiring Global Townhall, uniting thought leaders, innovators, and stakeholders from around the world. This prestigious event happened on 15 April & 11 June also served as a platform for strategic discussions, collaboration, and visionary insights aimed at shaping the future landscape of our industry. Against the backdrop of Shangri-La luxurious setting, attendees participated in engaging sessions that explored emerging trends, shared best practices, and fostered connections across borders. The townhall featured impactful presentations, interactive panels, and networking opportunities, creating a dynamic environment for knowledge exchange and innovation.
House Activity by Godlike
Recently team Godlike hosted a dynamic day of team-building activities, engaging in three thrilling games that sparked excitement and camaraderie. The day began with a slow bike race, challenging participants to showcase their balance and control as they navigated a course with deliberate precision. Teammates cheered each other on, demonstrating patience and skill in this unique competition. Following the bike race, the banana eating competition added a dash of humor and competitive spirit. The highlight of the day was the volleyball tournament, where teams battled it out on the court with enthusiasm and strategy. Colleagues worked together to score points and celebrate victories, showcasing teamwork and sportsmanship.
Farewell With mixed emotions we bid farewell to Jessy Joshua after 19 years of dedicated service. Khem Singh also began his next journey with Shangri - la at Touessrok, Mauritius after a successful stint at the hotel. We wish him the very best in his new journey.
Regional Pinning-Les Clefs d'Or
We are pleased & feel proud to share that our Concierge Ankush Sharma, has been pinned with Regional keys of Concierge Association of India- Northern Region in the Annual Day Celebration of Les Clefs d'Or India on 29 April, 2024 in Delhi. Out of the nine eligible candidates, only three candidates including Ankush got through the stringent written test & interview which was mandatory for the same. Ankush is now one step closer to getting prestigious International Golden Keys which every Concierge aspires to achieve.
Fun Fridays To keep the fun element alive, HRD recently introduced fun fridays in the hotel aiming to gain fully engage the new age millennials and our other colleagues. The afternoon activities were well received and we plan to continue arranging these fun banters in the form of WOW Wednesdays also.
Renovation theme Lunch Special Renovation-Themed Lunch was held on June 28, 2024 . This exclusive event marks the beginning of refurbishing our elegantly redesigned spaces, where classic charm meets modern sophistication. Hear from our design and renovation experts about the journey of our venue's transformation, including the creative vision, sustainable practices, and innovative solutions that have brought our renovation to life. We will soon be back with new ballroom, Spa, Salon, Health club and swimming pool to further enhance the experience of our guests. STAY TUNED!
