Dr. Konstantine Rizopoulos is a leading expert and specialist in myofascial pain. He has almost thirty years of experience working in this particular field. He also has extensive experience with neuro mobilization, muscle energy technique approaches, and trigger point therapies. Dr. Rizopoulos is a Registered Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Sonographer and is one of less than 30 physical therapists in the United States who have this license. He received his undergrad degree fromAthens, Greece and has since completed his Doctorate as well as extensive courses in manual therapy. Dr. Rizopoulos is a member of the American Back Society, the Hellenic Medical Society, and the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). He attends conferences and gives lectures internationally. He has also published a variety of studies and is currently a contributing editor for the Indian Journal of Physical Therapy. Along with Dr. Dimitrios Kostopoulos, Dr. Rizopoulos is a co-founder of Hands-On Seminars. This is an extensive group of companies that span the areas of physical therapy, diagnostic testing, rehabilitation, and education. Hands-On Seminars was started in 1992 and together they have treated over 100,000 patients and trained over 30,000 physical therapists to be certified. Dr. Rizopoulos also coauthored the book “Trigger Point & MyoFascial Therapy” which has been on the best sellers list for 3 consecutive years. When not working to treat patients and train physical therapists, Dr. Rizopoulos is spending time with his family. He is an amazing husband, father, and dog lover.
