The Holiday season is the time to brighten our homes with ribbons, lights, trinkets, candles, and all kinds of ornaments. Why not save a little money by making your own beautiful Christmas wreath? You don’t have to be an artist to make a beautiful creation. All you need is a little imagination and a few min- utes of your precious time. The list of materials is short: a wicker garland, some string, and medium-gauge metal thread. To decorate your wreath, you can use dried items, like pine-cones, corn ears, fruit pieces, flowers, etc. The rules are simple. The first thing you do is attach the string so that you can hang your finished wreath. Then, cut some flowers to
the stems. You only need to stick a piece of metal thread into the pine- cones and fruit pieces. Start by attaching the bigger pieces to the wreath. Always start with the brightest colours because they are more difficult to place. Then, fill the gaps with the smaller pieces, like corn and fruit. The trick is to try to balance the colours and the orna- ments to give your wreath an overall uniform look. Good luck!
