Note
Components in training scenario 1 should be:
1. Single components from crane and hoist types and systems other than the functional ones available on the training site in whole
2.
Components from the cranes and hoists available on site, where dismantling and reassembling will be too time consuming or may pose a risk of unnecessary wear and tear on the equipment
ELEMENT 9.2 - TRAINING SCENARIO 2, INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE ON CRANES
The participants shall:
Perform inspection and maintenance on a fixed, small crane following the maintenance procedure as described in the manufacturer’s manual and other relevant documents, e.g. the Inspection and Maintenance Log (see Annex 3)

Shackles, torque wrench, chain hoist, load cell, slings All lifting equipment must be within certification date (correct colour code) A multi choice assignment, where some questions may have more than one possible correct answers
The test is planned to be an individual test
Theory test on topics from the module (primarily learning objectives aiming at knowledge) that are not covered in the practical assignments in lesson 9
The participants must be informed if this is a formative or a summative test
