GENETICS SINGLETON PARK CAMPUS

Genetics is a fast-moving field with an enormous impact in a range of scientific areas, including the understanding and treatment of diseases, pharmaceutical development and biodiversity conservation.

Learn techniques for analysing gene expression, protein interactions, DNA structure and damage, and image analysis of biomolecules and cells. You will benefit from access to state-of-the-art research facilities, and develop excellent project management skills, learning how to design experiments and plan work programmes. Our wide range of modules will allow you to tailor your degree to your interests, career ambitions or further study. MSci PROGRAMME: This integrated undergraduate master’s degree adds specialist training in laboratory techniques and a further research-focused year, awarding you a master’s level qualification while paying undergraduate fees and is ideal for a career in research.
