As a Swansea law student, you will study in a supportive, student-focused environment. You will gain a solid foundation in legal reasoning and analysis, and the substantive laws of England and Wales. A law degree is not a professional qualification. To qualify as a solicitor, you must pass the Solicitors Qualifying Examinations (SQE 1&2) and complete qualifying work experience. While our undergraduate degrees are designed to provide you with skills and knowledge relevant to the SQE1, we would recommend you undertake targeted postgraduate study before attempting either part of the SQE.
