BA PHILOSOPHY AND POLITICS

The BA Philosophy and Politics programme comprises an equal focus on each subject area, allowing you to explore the ways that philosophy and politics connect and how they can be combined to understand and overcome the major social challenges that we face. Modules will explore conceptual themes in politics, such as the status of political knowledge, the nature of political agency, power, ideology and oppression, and theoretical lenses that structure political research (e.g., post-structuralism; feminism; intersectional theory), along with the politicisation of philosophy (e.g., epistemic injustice and de-colonising the philosophical cannon).
